Hello all,

 

I'm Taz!!

This is just a sketch, 

no details drawing or 3D visual.

 

 

CASSIUS

 

Background of name

 

 

 

 

 

 

Inspired from "Cassius Clay" a.k.a Muhammad Ali.

Professional boxer, a legend.

 

"Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee"

-Ali-

 

 

Cassius is a (almost) melee combat mech.

 

Stats : 

 

Armor : 360

Fuel tank (L) : 95

Regen (L/S) : 10.00

Speed (Ground) : 21.50

Speed (Air) : 33.00

Speed (Boost) : 36.40

Radar (M) : 100

 

 

-----WEAPON-----

 

- Primary-

Primary weapon is Flak Cannon, which is very good for using in close combat.

Because it has spread bullet, but doesn't give burst damage to the user itself.

-Secondary-

Secondary weapon is KLA - Corsair, same like what raider have.

with MIRV mode, it can launches short range explosive projectiles

fire it at ground or wall near enemy to deal area of effect damage.

-Alternate-

 

Alternate weapon is Heat Cannon, fires a velocity explosive projectile that detonates on impact.

Can be charge up to increased damage and speed of the projectiles.

Have large splash damage, long range distance, and can be air detonated.

Splash Barrier

reduce splash damage taken by 50% for 5 second.

Nerf Armor and air speed plz. 

 

And Heat instead of Flak. NO F*CKING NOOB HITSCAN. Also "Doesn't give burst damage." You mean the miniflak?

 

 

Other than that, KLA on A-Classes? Hell yeah! (Tho I have no idea how to use it). 

But srsly, make it ground combat and non-hitscan and you have my money.

hahaha.. Yeah i know armor and air speed is too high.. Even the armor is highest among A-class.
it's because this mech will dedicated to close range combat, so it need more durability , and mobillity.

Sorry , what's the meaning of "hitscan"?
heat cannon maybe will become it's alternate or prestige weapon.

Hitscan: instant dmg (you don't need to aim in front of a moving mech to hit it, just directly look at it, no matter the distance. It is basically a laser. And yes, Flak IS hitscan.

Hitscan: instant dmg (you don't need to aim in front of a moving mech to hit it, just directly look at it, no matter the distance. It is basically a laser. And yes, Flak IS hitscan.

i love the idea of this mech, though if its a close quarters mech, i feel the flack is better, so as to avoid the close range splash on the heat cannon, have you given any thought to the ability?

 

if its goal is a meleeish mech, perhaps an ability that reduces splash damage taken by x% for so many seconds? so as not to be a simple damage increase or a copy of another ability.

Yeah i also think like that, Flak is very brutal weapon in close combat.

and it doesn't give damage to user itself.

 

but it's okay,

Heat cannon and Flak cannon can be switch as primary & alternate weapon.

For the prestige weapon, i still have no idea.

But it will just become another copy of berserker.

I think using failsafe is enough, since it's give 40% reduce damage.

remember, the breacher is a VERY good weapon, and the paired with the KLA (specifically mirv) could deal a maximum of a 288 damage burst (same as g2 raider) but would always be very mobile. It would be like if g2 raider always had its ability up and didn't use fuel


I do appreciate the art, but I don't have time to find anything good. /h/

hmmm, berhaps a breacher VT? has better penetration and range, but less flak damage when uncharged? it was something i was thinking of for a G2 scout/Ranger of sorts, my idea applied a reduced ism effect when charged, but i bet the tweeked stats would work well for this,

breacher maybe fit in, since it's have same characteristic with flak (but breacher can charge up)

hooo..i see, so splash damage from enemy also reduce with those abillity.

I don't know if breacher can deal such a massive damage like that.

But i have just check it in saltystats, and yeah damage per shot is 144.   :woot:

Otherwise you have to pull the trigger half a second before the enemy rounds the corner. And its not fun.
