I had been unable to launch Hawken for about 2 or 3 weeks now. When I tried to launch it will hang up instantly. I accidentally launched it through my nvidea GeForce experience console and it works. I have no idea what is the issue but if you have this issue with nvidea try launching it that way.

 

To Note: I have a new i7 skylae with a GTX 980 Ti and am running Windows 10. It was a brand new build with a pci ssd. I am horrible at keeping up with forums but I will try to check if people have additional questions to try to help figure out why it won't launch from steam

Have you tried the fixes in the thread here: https://community.pl...1-common-fixes/

 

Make sure all your drivers, for your motherboard, GPU, everything, are up to date.  Might be causing compatibility issues and want to cross out all variables.

 

Worst case scenario, you can launch Hawken directly without using the Steam client by finding the .exe for the Hawken client:

C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Hawken\Binaries\Win32\HawkenGame-Win32-Shipping.exe

 

If it's a problem with Steam launching, I would assume directly launching the Hawken client without Steam may fix it, but if it's a problem with Hawken itself, then the game won't launch regardless/have problems with start up.  After that, go through the common fixes thread I posted above and then you can always file a support ticket: https://hawken.zendesk.com/hc/en-usand give them as much information as possible when you do.
