I bought a flight stick for fun and to use in coop matches.  I want to use it with my left hand to control movement as opposed to aiming. I am trying to aim with my mouse. The mech will move when I move the flight stick in the proper direction, the problem is that it keeps spinning as if I am moving my mouse to the left.

Does anyone had any experience with getting the Thrustmaster t16000m to work with Hawken? I updated the drivers as well but that didnt seem to help.

Do you have TS3 open also?

I have a Saitek flightstick that I use lefty, and when TS3 is open my mech spins, with TS3 closed it works fine.

Open HawkenInput.ini in your configs and make the following changes:

LookRightScale=1.0
LookUpScale=-1.0
And please don't tell me you don't know where your config files are located.
https://community.pl...1-common-fixes/3rd step should help you locate them.

That should solve the spinning issue, not sure if it will affect the scale of movement though. I'm too lazy to hook up an X52 pro just to test for 5 minutes. Sorry.

Good luck though.

one more thing that I forgot, there are 2 separate areas in the input config file.

[Engine.PlayerInput]
and
[HawkenGame.R_PlayerInput]

You need to at least make the changes in the [HawkenGame.R_PlayerInput] area, or if you want you can make the changes in both, I don't think the game ever actually uses the [Engine.PlayerInput] area. I just didn't think about it when I wrote the first response.
