Some players reported that Hawken has a weird resolution when they start the game.

If you are affected you can reset the resolution by performing step 3 of the common solutions thread: https://community.pl...1-common-fixes/

If that doesn't work you can set a specific resolution via the config files. The config files are located in "C:\Users\YourName\Documents\My Games\Hawken\HawkenGame\Config\". You should search for "ResX" and "ResY" in the "HawkenSystemSettings.ini".
 

 

Players with a moitor resolution lower than the minimum requirement (1280x720) of Hawken can set a custom resolution that way. However, if you use a lower resolution than 1280x720 the HUD will be glitched. Here's an explanation by the former developer [HWK]EngineNine:
 

Unfortunately we no longer officially support resolutions below 1280x720.  

This was mainly done in order to have a standard minimum resolution for the UI in the menus and game, otherwise it becomes increasinly difficult to allow access to all necessary elements while also being able to show all relevant info.
