So this is my PC.

It has 1 i7 4790 processors running at 3.60 GH with Intel HD Graphics 4600. It has a 1 TB hard drive and 12 GB of RAM. The display resolution is 1920 x 1080 (I will add more information when I find it) That doesn't sound all that bad to me, so I'm curious why I get 30 fps in combat along with frequent freezes. If any of you that know more about this than I do, please put some helpful words in this thread.

Yes. I run HAWKEN on a GTX 660 - a Graphics card from 2012 - on high settings on constant 60FPS. You can pick one of those up for less than �100.

However, a new series of cards have just dropped, so the prices may drop lower than they currently are in the upcoming months.

Calling Intel onboard graphics a GPU is like calling a Peel P50 a car.

Ehn, not as much as you think. I've noticed lower-end cards not benefiting nearly as much from new-card release price drops. After the 9-series hit the market, I sat happily waiting for the 750ti to drop in price. Three months later it had dropped by $1.99.

Yes get a graphics card. The onboard Intel is good for browsing the web and Candy Crush.........but not much else. LOL

And the other suggestions are good. They are cheap enough. Hell buy a used one on eBay or something mate.

I would suggest a Rx 480 once that comes out for 1080p gaming. Anything higher than that I think would be a waste for 1080p atm. (I would not go nvida atm as they will not have new mid range cards out for a while)

I just bought and installed a GT 740 and I'm really happy with the results. I was going for a GTX 750, but I was having trouble finding local stores that carried them.

not special but it WORKS at least.. on ultra etc... i think they go for cheap as a bag of monkies now days
