This deserves a separate post.

 

I started making a server monitoring script that shows the current state of our private server. The map image is static now (not like it can change without us), but everything else displayed is from shadeness' herokuapp. We clearly need our own website now, and it is on my todo list with a sorta high priority. I will make a similar widget for our other game servers as well (just like the UT3 one we had on the BSB site).

Our NPO threw an awesome gaming party yesterday. I can barely move my limbs because we had to move like 400 kg (including arcade machines, sound systems and a DDR pad) and later I headbanged all night. :) I made some photos with my phone, but they are not the best. A prominent member of our Hackerspace had a fancy camera on him, so I will post his photos after he shared them.

 

We showcased almost every console and had old computers and invited everyone important in the Hungarian gaming scene (legandary journalists, gaming communities and developers). It was a blast! A brazilian guy entered the MKX competition and he took third place without even playing the game before!

 

 

Since Houruck will not be able to attend, we have cancelled planned events for tonight. Stuff should resume as normal next week though.

 

I would like to ask you guys to check the Google calendar I created. I invited most of you so you can even edit it. It shows the weekly practice and the scrims in your time zone and you can let us know if you can not make it or want to stream or play another game and you are looking for someone to play with.

As I already told you, next week would be Insurgency but I will be at a demoparty so I can not make it. You guys are still welcome to play without me, I will make sure the server is up-to-date before I leave. Someone else from AoH can translate instead of me if necessary. I still want to have an Insurgency scrim we can all stream, I want to overlay my heart rate so the viewers can see when it stops when someone pops up behind a corner. :)

 

EDIT: CA members! Be sure to attend the next practice, because we have someone who wants to introduce himself on TeamSpeak. ;)
