It really hurts I can only have 3 in my party and then we get split up on team deathmatch. Most of the fun is playing with your friends not against them. You do realize this is the only game doing this and it will effect the game in the long run correct? I love playing but most of my friends are already out on xbox one. They hate that I'm just owning them. The 3 in a party should combat full teams of awesome players who are going to run through everyone. I'm lost on how this is a good idea.

Leave parties on same team!

Well thank goodness they did. That's one of the first "got it right" things I've seen from the console versions so far.
I still think they should allow parties as large as 12. But they absolutely must continue to allow the team balancing algorithm to break parties onto separate teams if that is what makes for a more balanced match.
For some historical perspective, on the PC version of Hawken, which still is significantly different, 2 or 3 really high level players can party up and go into a match with a guarantee that they will always remain on the same team. Since the team balancing algorithm can't split them up, they are then free to literally stomp the crap out of the other team... match after match after match. It's horrible.
Something had to be done.
And you are still playing WITH your buddies. You may end up on opposing teams from time to time, but you should revel in the fun of both learning from and defeating your friends in a game.

Just match partys against other partys ... problem solved ...
This exists, just nobody plays it.
