In the old forums, there was this amazing app made by one of the players called The Hawken Mech Customiser. A lot of the mech artwork seen on here was made using it. It was made by a player named Yahnnus.

To use this, you will have to install the Unity plugin, which it will ask you to do if you don't already have it.  This will be a quick install and is completely safe.  After this, when you use it, it will ask you to do a first time download. This will let you use all of the models and textures that come with it.  The rest should be self explanatory.

Great job Sandspider! I actually got in touch with erathic just the other day and suggested he come and re-post some of his works. He's really up for the idea but very busy with work right now.

 

It should have its place on the forum again that's for sure.

You need to install the unity plugin.

I tried to access the link.
He asks to install a plugin, install it properly, then close and open the page and it asks me to download a zip with some dll's, what I do with these files?
Downloaded direct pluguim the site and still did not work.

Sorry, I have know idea what to do with any of those things. It worked first time for me.

If anyone can provide some info on this, it would be most appreciated.

Its asking me to enable npapi (which i thought i already had) but I cant actually find the setting for it on the chrome://flags/#enable-npapi page

I've gotten unity web player at this point, but it still wants me to download it.
