Here are some games for you all to check out.wqpskifbWP09IHQW3WGF

Free games:

Dirty Bomb:
Does anyone remember Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory? Because I sure as hell don’t; I wasn’t even conceived when that came out.
You may be happy to know that the developers of Wolf: ET actually went on to create a F2P first person shooter with similar mechanics known as Dirty Bomb. Set in an irradiated 2020 London, you can choose from a selection of mercenaries each with their own look, abilities, weapons and stats. The weapons and stats can be modified with loadout cards, providing alternate weapons and perks. The cards that provide the highest amount of perks one can have (three) can be bought outright for in-game credits and all higher rarities are simply cosmetic differences. The movement system is interesting too, with wall hopping and leaping.

Warframe:
Meet the game that had the korean F2P publisher that originally shunned it come running back to the developers, asking how to do Free 2 Play games properly.
As you can guess, Warframe is a very good F2P game and an example of how they can be pulled off well. You play as a race of space ninjas called the Tenno and you can choose a colourful array of latex suits to give you different stats and abilities. You can have a primary, secondary, and melee weapon, and the extent of what they can do is hilarious. Do you want a rocket launcher? Sure! Want a pistol that fires scolding water? Why not? Want a burstfire rifle that is a living organism and uses your blood as an ammo resource? Go ahead!
They recently released an update that made the game OPEN WORLD. No subscription, no catch. Just an open world map to do bounties, missions, fishing, mining, hunting, executing, whatever. It’s swell.

Unturned:
Minecraft, DayZ and ROBLOX had a threesome, and the result was pretty alright.
Made by Nelson Sexton, a young developer known for making popular ROBLOX game modes (and is probably drowning in pu$$y right now) made a quirky crafting survival game where you fight zombies. Find guns, craft bases, and survive and fight with friends. A fun free game to fuzzy bunny about with, with friends. Or alone. Whatever sexes your Nelson.

Planetside 2:
There’s a button for everything, you ain’t rebinding fuzzy bunny.
Three large futuristic factions battle it out onj an entire planetary continent over which colour is the best or something. Choose from some classes that give you slightly bigger or smaller guns, or a sniper rifle. Transform into Hulk Hogan for a limited amount of time with some space credits and still receive fire from seemingly nowhere into cracks you didn’t know exist. It’s very customisable, apparently. I still haven’t stopped being poor so I can’t find out.

Paid games:

Titanfall 2:
Welcome to an unknown land where the movement system works in tandem with the maps and the DLC model isn’t fuzzy bunny.
Titanfall 2 is a pretty awesome first person shooter with giant robot mechs falling from the sky. Pick from a roster of 6 different titans with different weapons and roles, customise your pilot and fly+jump about the map like a bat squirrel on a lethal dose of ketamine. The DLC model is great, too: All non-cosmetic and gameplay-changing content is given free of charge, and all cosmetics are able to be paid for up-front, with no RNG.
The campaign is amazing. Buy it.

Cuphead:
The path to becoming a milge pro lies in your ability to control an anthropomorphic cup that uses finger guns to kill plants.
A shoot-em-up 2D sidescroller boss rush stylised as a 1930’s cartoon with rubber-pipe animation and an authentic soundtrack + barbershop quartet. This game is about as forgiving as Amidatelion when he’s drunk and corners me into a room and grabs his belt and I think I forgot where I was going with this. Basically, bring lube because this game will not hold back.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds:
100 humans fight to the death for some KFC or something.
Say hello to “we’re selling an incomplete game at full price but have still topped the steam charts can you pay us when we think of a gun thanks”, the game. In spite of how bug-riddled this game is, it’s quite fun, especially with friends. I wouldn’t pay the current price for it (luckily I didn’t need to, thanks Houruck you da real MVP) but it’s some stupid fun if you’re into that. Just stay away from the clothing part for your character.. It puts Apple to shame with how it sells stuff.

Elite Dangerous:
Still more interactive than AdVenture Capitalist.
Welcome to capitalism, in space! Fly your ship around the vastness of space! Do mining, bounty hunting, trading, missions, gain reputation with either the Empire or Not-The-Empire! Buy a bigger ship! Raid a space funeral!
I’m still being taught how to play this game by some hunky, handsome german with a sizeable ship.

PAYDAY 2:
I’ve robbed banks wearing a CRT television on my head.
The life of crime has many repercussions in real life, or so my dealer tells me. Luckily, he hooked me up with this sweet, sweet game that got me hooked immediately. I just kept coming back for more. Rob some banks wearing a chicken face, stealthily rob an industry wearing a bin bag, shoot up a museum wearing a norse helmet. Do basically anything wearing basically anything your head will fit in.

Shovel Knight:
“Gosh, this new Duck Tales game has a great twist!”
Murdering things with spades sounds a lot less practical than it actually is. Luckily, there’s a game reminiscent of SNES games down to the very palette! (Except for the parallax scrolling, and the actual memory constraints of a real SNES.) Shovel Knight! Someone thought of that and wasn’t tested for drugs!

Ori and the Blind Forest:
I’M NOT CRYING, YOU’RE CRYING.
Beautiful art direction, wonderful gameplay, long campaign, serene sound effects and music, puzzles. No wonder this thing’s getting a sequel. You’ll have to play this for yourself to understand why I’m crying. I mean, why you’re crying. Not me.

There you have it, folks.
I’m tired.

+1 I have this.

I recently found some games based on the story.

I have Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons but haven't played just yet.

I liked Life is Strange a lot (regularly on sale as low as $5) and so now I'm playing the prequel and waiting for episode 2 later this week.

edit: its on sale now on HB for the next 15 hours ;)

You really gonna recommend Dirty Bomb? Nexon bans anyone for 1 month if you get more than 8 consecutive headshots in a single match, do it twice and your account is gone for good.

As for Payday 2, simply fuzzy bunnyng awesome, nothing beats holding up a casino in a Krampus mask.

Oh boy, this game freaked me out so much…

I definitely recommend Hyper Light Drifter, if you want some 2D pixelated challenge. Nice gameplay, nice graphics, nice OST.

Except Nexon has no control over Dirty Bomb now: Splash Damage was purchased by Leyou - a Chinese poultry company looking to expand into the gaming sector (They own Digital Extremes, too.) - which helped Splash Damage wrestle the publishing rights from Nexon - who didn't give two flying shits about the game - and is the reason why there has been a flurry of content within the recent months.

EasyAntiCheat was used to replace Nexon's in-house anti-cheat engine. EAC is proving far more effective at not having more false positives than a cheese grater has holes.

If you want a cross between Ori and the blind forest and Cuphead, play Hollow Knight.

If you don't, play it anyway because it's a motherfuzzy bunnyng masterpiece of a game with free content packs  being released by the devs (1 so far, another coming out Halloween)

I played it with legit keyboard and mouse (and on Linux). It worked like a charm.
