I'm interested to know what other games people play and why they play those games. Seeing as how you are on these forums, I'm pretty sure you do play Hawken unless you really don't play and just stalk the forums and stuff.

Maybe a little something like this:

Hawken - because I like mechs

World of Tanks - because I like tanks

Orion: Prelude - because dinosaurs are cool

Dishonored - because the story is captivating

Perhaps you will have more elaborate reasons

TF2: Because it is stupid as fuzzy bunny. Also hats.

Goat Simulator: Because it is stupid as fuzzy bunny. Also hats.

Geometry Dash: Mostly because of the amazing music.

Portal 1-2: Self explanatory.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown: Because strategy games get you all the girls.

Hawken: because i have an apparent fetish for mechs and anything related. (Non-sexual, you perv)
Watch dogs: I love the story and the graphics are mind-blowing.
Almost any need for speed title: fast cars are sexy, high speed gets me high.
Portal 2: see the post above mine.

HAWKEN: Mechs

Armored Core: Mechs

Spoiler

Reassembly: Vector-based spaceship building and fighting in such a simple manner is charming

Besiege: I think I don't need to say anything, everyone loves this game

SMITE: Fun free game I can play with my friends, relatively well balanced.

Portal 2: I like solving puzzles as well as creating them.

Minecraft: It's legos, but infinite. Love building things, like a fully-functional replica of Portal 2.

StarMade: Minecraft in space. Build ships, explore planets, assemble a fleet.

Evolve: I like giant alien monsters :3

Reflex: Essentially modernized Quake 3 with a built-in map making tool. Currently working on a recreation of Frontline.

I mostly prefer non-competition based games, but make a few exceptions usually based on an obsession with the game's theme.

In this case, Hawken for the mechs, Evolve for the monsters, Reflex for the map creation tool.

Hawken: An enjoyable lore, fun mechanics and fun mechs. Good amount of dakka.

AirMech: Interesting idea, although boring in the long run. Decent dakka.

Loadout: You get to create your own amount of dakka. Schweet. Boring in the long run.

Planetary Annihilation: An RTS with planets and lots and lots of dakka. Heavy for pc.

Planetside 2: The pure size, I mean it is so big! And I like it big. (pun intended)

Warhammer 40.000 Dawn Of War: Amazing singleplayer, amazing battles. Can run on toasters.

Warhammer 40.000 Dawn Of War Dark Crusade Titanium Wars mod: Ups the size of the normal DOW, more units, bigger camera, and one hell of a slaughter.

Warhammer 40.000 Dawn Of War II: Badarse singleplayer, and hole lot of carnage.

Warhammer 40.000 Dawn Of War II Chaos Rising: Even better singleplayer, and hard on even the easiest difficulties. (ULKAIR!!!)

Warhammer 40.000 Dawn Of War II: Retribution: Singleplayer is mostly fun due to the army you can have, and orks. ("I`ll set me gitfinda to panzie boss!")

Warhammer 40.000 Space Marine: You make Kratos look like a p*ssy in the singleplayer, and oh dear lord the customizer in multiplayer...~!

And the last, but by no means the worst:

Lego Universe: Enjoyable enemies (except Nexus Prime, damned gorillas), customizing almost everything, potential to build gorgeous LEGO structures, and friendly mods. RIP.

HAWKEN because best mech game.
Just Cause 2 - Multiplayer Mod for goofing off with friends.
Blockland for modding, community, building, many gamemodes, etc.

Hey, if you like building things (especially with virtual "LEGO"), check out Blockland. It's an online building game with bricks nearly identical to LEGO bricks. There are gamemodes, so it's not just building. There are vehicles. There are weapons. There are items. Etc, etc. The best part? It's moddable (I've created quite a few myself). Oh, and did I mention that bricks are destructible? :D

Here's the trailer (which, incidentally, my brother was in, lol).

Some of the mods I've made for it.

I don't have time for much gaming, so all I'm playing right now is Hawken and Destiny. I tried DBZ Xenoverse recently but haven't picked it back up since the first time I tried it. I should mess around with Goat Simulator again...

What I'm mostly playing now, bouncing back and forth. I've been playing more and more on my New 3DS, gaming on the go is pretty nice.

Hawken - I love mechs

Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare - best shooter of 2014, absolute blast, get it.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate - AKA Beauty Hunter, also boss battle after boss battle

Titanfall - I love mechs, fast paced, and excellent traversal /  movement

rFactor - SP Mod (drifting sim racer) - I drift my miata so drifting in a sim is fun with my setup

Mario Golf World Tour - excellent on the go game

Then when the guys stop over for beer and games

Mario Kart 8 - feelings get hurt

Super Mario 3D World - everyones friends, but sorta not, gotta have that crown

Towerfall - friends become enemies

Gangbeasts - get drunk and punch your friends

Mount Your Friends - good beer spectator sport, gets very intense

Broforce - action bros

Styx: Master of Shadows: really good stealth game

Styx as a stealth game was interesting, caught the fever from Dishonored, but I just could not get into it. The story wasn't that amazing IMO but I do like hiding in sewers

Hawken - because.
Fire Emblem (any of the old ones) - some of the greatest challenge I've received from a game in my life, particularly FE6
Pokemon (all of them) - it's a classic and I'm a fan
Ace Combat 4 (PS2) - I don't play it often, and it's an old game, but it has so much replay value and challenging to boot.
Stranded Deep - it's a beautiful game visually. Still in Alpha but I like the vanilla feel of this survival game, untainted by zombies and other weird stuff.
Besiege - also in alpha, but it's some silly stupid fun. Also has real physics integration.

Games I play currently:

Hawken:  Has great potential that may be realized again thanks to Reloaded Games.  Reminded me of Mechassault but in FPS form.  Probably about once or twice a week.

SpeedRunners:  An interesting, competitive, fast-paced and surprisingly fun take on platforming/racing.  Almost daily.

Star Wars: The Old Republic:  While it's not perfect, it's one of the best F2P bargains I've found in a long time.  Still can't decide whether to invest money into it.  Usually once or twice a week, but it used to be my daily game.

Honestly, it's mostly just Hawken. Other games though:

Hearthstone: Easy to slip in a game or two now and then.

Payday 2: Fun, simple, able to play with irl friends.

Binding of Isaac: There's just so much fuzzy bunny to unlock. Fun game though.

Burnout Paradise: For when I feel like driving.

DayZ: This game can really suck you in sometimes. Thrilling getting into the survival aspect.

Samurai Gunn: When drunk with friends

Gang Beasts: When drunk with friends

Nidhogg: When drunk with friends

Would definitely play GTA V, but don't think my computer could handle it. There are other games I play from time to time, but those are my main ones.

EDIT: always done to play any of the games I listed, just hit me up.

I've been playing a lot of Spintires and Starmade (Kittles/Umbre's server) as of recent. I took another break from Marvel Heroes, which means I'll probably binge on it again sometime within the coming months.

What I am currently playing and would love to play with others:

Hawken: Because Hawken.

Secondlife: My uber chat room.

DirtyBomb: The perfect FPS for what I have been craving. Nothing else just hits that arena/fast paced shooter style for me right now.

Tera: I used to play forever ago but for some reason got back into it. Despite me hating leveling in MMORPGs I am enjoying grinding mobs in Tera for now.

Cities:Skylines: Easily the best city builder I have ever played. When I go to sleep I dream of roads and interchanges thanks to this.
