I've been looking around the internet and i keep seeing all these posts from 2012 about a live-action

HAWK3N series, and even a live-action trailer for this series. it says the show was to premier in 2013 but

everything about it happening past trailers and release dates seems to be a black hole for information. does anyone know what happened? because i have looked and looked but i haven'd a dang thing... it even got me all excited and everything, dang, had some big names in it too. Did it die? trailers looked awesome though.

I'm not the most informed one, but the Hawken live action series died quite long ago, I guess by lack of fundings. I'm sure people will give you more details.

 

But keep playing the game, it's better than a live action series: it's interactive and all!

Well, you see, back in the days of Adhesive, the publisher, Meteor Entertainment, supposedly squandered a lot of development funds on advertising. One of these schemes was the live action series. Sadly, as Adhesive and Meteor started falling into financial crisis, the planned series had to be cancelled.

 

There's even a Hawken card game (albeit only having two starter packs).

They used to have an unusual (I mean, different from what you encounter) approach of advertising: 'We'll never spend any money on advertising Hawken' in MCV.
