Speaking of dropping victory all over the map, why not a poo holotaunt_ :P
They have a poo and pee one, but they're not out yet.

If Hawken's animators can rig a mech to pelvically thrust in place, (if tapping the taunt button, repeatedly) that would be sufficient enough for me.

Riii-ruur-rii-ruur-rii-ruur-rii-ruur-rii-ruur

And I will assault the enemy team at the sight of my metallic cod-piece.

agreed taunts will make the game look more childish, i'd say more voice commands. yeah ~.~

Agreed. skrew the taunts (or at least give me the option to disable them all at once) and bring on the voice commands. Taunts systematically throw me right off my immersion mood. Watching those highly sophisticated mechs doing those stupid anims is beyond childish. Bringing the taunts into this game was one major step backward in my opinion. Every time I see a teabag anim or even a bow after I'm downed, I feel like a little brat forced his foot into my door to show me his middle finger.

And now we would hear a bunch of sound taunts on top on that_ I say, no thanks_

I don't agree. Mech taunts make the game more fun and an humor touch upon a time is absolutely something great to see on the battlefield.

On the pelvis mech taunt PhoboTech suggested above (kidding or not)... now that I think on it, would be as fun as cool to have one new mech taunt like that in the game. Not so explicit though.. lol.. but combining it with a dance step would be fun. Hahah.. yep. :D

BTW, a new BUH! vampire themed holo-taunt would be cool as well for the Technicians. A good Technician pilot can kill you combining his primary weapon with his vampire beam pretty well. That requires skills, ofc; but I've seen it many times on the battlefield. Thing whih is cool as well.

And now a bit more on the serious side of the things. Yes, tactical taunts should be enlarged; I agree on that. IIRC, I posted a dedicated thread on this time ago. For example, an "scort me" and/or "follow me" tactical taunt would be much appreciated, for instance, in Siege mode. You know what I mean with this_ Does this ring any bell there_ :)

Edit: And 1 or 2 sound based taunts would not be so terrible idea. The only thing which may worry me somehow would be people abusing of those. Implementing a coherent timing playing taunt to a decent amount of time (or interval) would solve the thing pretty well in a way which should not end up being annoying on the BF.

If you want a "Non-childish game" then go to CoD and BF4, heard their communities are great!
I`ll fix it later.

Guys

you know what this game needs_!

A HIGH FIVE TAUNT

like in Team fortress 2
And as we fall the spirit carries on
that the hero'll come and save us all
as we call the ones we left below
we all dream of day we rise above

Taunts: what a waste of a slot. How about more internal tweaks instead of cartoon chickens_ What happened to heat sinks_ I'd like to fit a mech the way a ship in EVE is fit. I'd like to stock my garage with tweaks and parts. Hawken is such a beautiful game, taunts take me right out of the immersion. Cartoon chickens are standard equipment_ I wish I could at least opt out!

Instead of taunting, I would have my mechs play this across the battlefield:

I would also plan to die in less than a minute.

I love taunts... Except they are pretty much same like on TF2... If you taunt... You die pretty much 85% of the time.
