Seriously though, you're gonna have to stomach some of these harder-core game elements if you want to see Hawken grow in the competitive scene. I mean just have a look at the HEAT Scout, and you'll see that a sniper on your team might not be such an unwelcome thing, if not just to make the class A squishies from thinking twice before walking into the open.

i just dont like snipers in movement based games

though hawken has alot of cover so its not so bad, snipers in tribes ascend and firefall are aids

nothing more annoying than constantly getting killed by people u cant fight back against and have to hide from to not get killed

I can't think of a single sniper nest in any of the current levels that has no blind spots or flanking path.

on edges of the playable map area have a few. sahara have some buildings along left side of south spawn; you may have decent -> good field of fire but are extremely exposed.

It's a good thing that sniper balance and map design are both far better in Hawken
