I like a faster, hit n run style of play so something quick. Wile'e'Coyote, Speedy Gonzalez, Mighty Mouse, Roadrunner...  stuff like that. Tougher mechs will get hard sounding names like Nails, Tungsten Brawler, Brickhouse, and Iron Dome.

When I played Battletech (tabletop) back in the 80s all of my pilots were named after beer. So there was Lt. Michelob, Sgt. Labatt and Pvt. Miller. Hmm, maybe now I can name it after my current beer tastes...
