its quite simple, run it with compatibility mode, XP SP2 and it will work

Run the launcher as administrator. This's been happening since the Technician patch, when the launcher was changed to not require you to log in.

I get application failed to start because XINPUT1_3.dll was not found. Tried several reinstalls with the same results.
