Hey Hawken team, I saw this on Pixel Enemy and on IGN and I'm really excited about this game.
But I was just wondering if its going to be LAN compatible, I'm Sick of playing StarCraft and CoD4 at my LAN's.
Would be amazing if you made a LAN mode for this game, or at least let me know if you've already planned for it.

Thanks heaps TCG| Matrix12383

You act as though those are the only good LAN games.

I'm for LAN by the way.

Such terrible LAN examples. You'll scare away the LAN support.

As much as I love LAN I have not seen any F2P games with LAN support.  If they did add LAN players would not be able to use their perks, unless they stay connected to the servers, which defeats the point of LAN.  Killing floor had a system like this for their single player mode and it worked pretty well, however it gets really annoying since not having internet means you have to play offline without any of your perks (which in Killing floor ruins you).

As much as I loved LAN parties in College, it seems like more and more they're going away not that players have access to full and cheap high speed internet. The last LAN party I did was in September, and that was the FIRST LAN party I've had in probably seven years. Basically, we just got everyone plugged into my Internet and played TF2 on my server.

Mods fixed that though. The perfect perks blackisted mutation allowed you to have all the perks max level without having to grind for them(or be connected to the servers).

I'm gonna link another forum thread because I feel it's relevant. It shows supporting LAN from a F2P developer perspective.

And if you have a soul you'll +1 the thread so we can get LAN in Airmech...

I disagree with the limiting of features for F2P games. LAN is a feature I consider extremely important.

Hm. A $20 LAN version would be cool. I'd definitely shell out the money.

Hey I kind of agree to the LAN thing but isn't really just the world playing together_! Also that will be very cool is can we have a clan of people in the game_ Respond so I can tell this to the director cause I know somebody met the guy that is making this game.

I would say yes but do not know many people, for I'm just a lonely waffle sulking in my syrup.

Terrible, terrible examples
but I agree completely. Plus, LAN ensures people stay with the game - see Diablo for details, I'm sure it'll fill you in.
