I have been following Hawken for over 18 months, I went to PAX Prime and played this amazing game and even got some swag from the devs, but to this day the game will not even get past the launcher on my machine.... My question is when will you actually FIX YOUR GAME Adhesive, other f2p games like Tribes and even the buggy Blacklight works just fine on my machine, yet after over 18 MONTHS you STILL haven't fixed your game.

My rig is as follows:
Intel i7-975 (OCed to 3.85GHz)
8GB Kingston Hyper-X RAM
1 Powercolor Radeon HD 6950 2GB
3x 1TB Seagate Barracuda

The attached screenshot is all that I see when I launch the Hawken Installer.

i'm running 12.10

Edit: I haven't tried any beta drivers since the BF3 beta, I will try them again to see if that fixes it but I sincerly doubt it, I've also done a clean Win 7 Home Premium image on it as well, so I haven't exactly been praying to the god on this one.

get the beta driver.

http://support.amd.c...iw_vista64.aspx 64 bit win 7

http://support.amd.c...iw_vista32.aspx 32 bit win 7

Other steps would be removing all traces of the game and re downloading.

Running in compatibility mode.

Admin mode is always a good bet.

Your fire wall might be doing something funky.

Your virus programs might be doing something funky.

Check this and fiddling with that since i don't know what you have already done.

running beta driver, after a restart there's no change.

Edit: Completely disabled my AV which is Avast which offered no change to the whitescreen

Edit 2: Im running the installer on a newly formatted hybrid 160GB drive because I already considered that since I couldn't find Adhesive Games or Hawken in any of the appdata folders (local, roaming and LocalLow)

Edit 3: Tried running it in compatibility mode with Win XP System pack 1-3 and Vista 1-2 and nothing.

Edit 4: running it as Admin did nothing.

Update your .NET framework - you can get it pretty easily via ninite.com
Also ensure that your Windows is up to date, as sometimes there can be compatibility patches that sneak through. (Control Panel/Windows Updates)
Have you tried re-downloading the installer to a different location and starting from scratch_

Beyond that, try scanning your machine with another AV (Malwarebytes, HitmanPro etc) as a single AV will often have blind spots.

Update your .NET framework, Visual C++ Runtimes, and DirectX. One of those three should cure it.

Hawken will only work if you clear your heart of hate.

I thought that was fear... try both.
