Even with the proposed nerf, it is still OP and will be the best item for that slot.  I don't use it on any of my bots except my SS.  it's just too fun hitting people halfway across Bazaar with it for no other reason than to watch them spin in circles and flee. Then again, my SS is more for just spottnig and painting dudes for the team anyway.  I cast the stinkiest of eyes at anyone who uses the EMP in cqc unless they are brand new and obviously struggling.  It is a newbie item and that's that.  If you have any mech at a high level, you should be good enough to survive without it by now.

That is actually a briliant idea.  Make a few people want to quit real life and maybe the EMP will get removed   You go out there and bring an end to this argument like a good gamer!

Any time someone manages to EMP me, I make it a point to track them down and kill them repeatedly until they learn it won't do them any good. I'd advise against using EMP, especially if you want to actually build better skills at this game.

But seriously though, that's what I have been doing with EMP in the first place. Not gonna stop me and no amount of crying will either :/.

It's like saying "Don't use the best brand because it's too good!"

I'll occasionally use EMPs, basically to check how CMUs work now on and so forth.. I think I'm not going to base my tactics on this item though... Very excited due to the upcoming new fat patch we get today ..
