For me I am not in a clan. All the ones now are too large or just too strict or I just don't meet the requirements.

I'm shopping right now. I was thinking about starting my old Quake2 clan back up because so many are already pretty big.

Dirtnap's Hawken side isn't big at all.
Since we moved to fpsboss.com we don't have many people playing/posting anymore.

Why not become a WG_ We aren't a clan per se', but we have no requirements and only a small core group that regularly participates on the wandering gun forum and practices together (when the chance arises).

No clan here, my little group is good enough; no clan aspirations, no BS.

Basically what xbox said. You just get to play against skilled guys on a frequent basis and talk trash in mumble/ts/raidcall ^_^

If the clan features are added into the game as promised, I can't imagine not wanting to join one. In fact, I'm a week old rookie but would love to join up in any small-sized, active daily, friendly guild. I consider myself an average llayer now and will only get better with time. In fact, not to hijack the thread or anything, but if anyones interested in scoopig me up, PM or find me in game plz!

I'm in one. If I wasn't, who would listen to my crazy shenanigans_

I lone wolfed it from Alpha to the end of CB3 and it does get boring by yourself.

Soon as I have 3 lvl 25 mechs I'm going to start shopping. I really enjoy clans, but I'm also very particular. I have a lot of experience with clans and pretty much know exactly what I want out of my experience in one.

Being able to play US-East and UK will give me a few opportunities to find the right fit.

Clans just aren't my thing.  I have tried them in other games and either have to leave or get kicked out because of my work schedule, family/real life, or because I get tired of the pressure of having to play when, where, or how the clan decides they are playing.  Sometimes I either don't want to run voice chat (don't want some clown dropping the F-bomb with my kids standing there watching me play) or I would rather listen to music instead of hearing clan members crying about dying or I can't run chat because it is late at night and I don't want to wake the house .  Come to think about it, my wife is right I am getting to be an "old cranky hermit".  :D

I'm a member of a clan and I find a clan this overall is large is great to be a part of. Especially when they play many different games it means you can just jump in a try a game with a group of guys that you don't even know but your all working together and they got your back. A clan that is overall large is not necessarily large in any one game you play either so it's like bunch of small communities.
