I finished the legs last night. I am happy with how fast this project has been moving. If I am lucky I will be able to start painting this weekend.

This, I would commission a model of my Bruiser or an A-Class MOBI in a heartbeat.

While I am open to the idea of commisions sadly there are several issue that prevent me from moving forward with them. Most importantly copyright issues. Technically speaking I can be asked to stop building a model even if I have no intent to sell it. Luckily most copyright holders dont mind you reproducing their work for personal use. Once I try to sell it though, I am making money off of someone elses intellectual property and I would have to make sure I get the blessing from all parties.  On top of that, I have spent probably 200 hrs on this model. Even at minnimum wage that would be roungly $1500 which is probably too expensive for most, and I dont know that I would do it for less than a $15hr estimate. Ultimatey while I like the idea, it always becomes so much hassel between pricing and legalities that I have just avoided it.

On the plus side, I finished painting/asembling the model late last night and I will be taking photos and updating my website tonight. I will make a post here once it's done.

That's alright. It was worth asking the question but I was worried about the legality of it and of course, how much it would cost. I suppose since it is an original hand-made/painted model, it would cost more. Every original model I've seen on auction from artists like Jeff Soto or Huck Gee usually go from a couple hundred to several thousand dollars. I guess I'll stick to some Ashley Wood vinyl figures to satisfy my mech figure cravings for now. =)

Looking forward to the finished work. =)
