That's not sarcasm; sarcasm would be to say "~$2500_ hmm, I'll take 2 if they're that cheap."
That's sarcasm
EDIT: oh yeah, awesome work too- building Airfix kits to a high-ish standard is hard enough work, scratch built models is a whole new level of dedication & skill.

One: Gorgeous work. Love it, and the other stuff on your site.
Two: I'm a propmaker myself and am toying with the idea of scratchbuilding a Raider. Could you pass me a lil more insight on getting a model to work from_
I found the download from the fellow on youtube with all the rigged models in c4d format, but couldn't find a way to convert them to something useable like obj without using Cinema 4D itself. I wanna open stuff up in Blender to grab orthos and flat shots of big surfaces to trace as it sounds like you did.
Thanks!

I've made some very simple, self made paper models of rally cars, houses, tanks, and medieval warriors, but it was ~10 years ago and they didn't survived more than month (my family have very devastating influence for any kind of artistic expression*).
*For example we recieved, from our grandparents a still life painting from 1922. They throw it to basement where it was little damaged, and stayed on wet floor. Fortunately I moved it somewhere else. Now it's on wall in living room, but still need repairs.
