I just wanted to say "hi" (or "hello", whavever suits you) from the depths of Eastern Europe, where people have never heard about games other than throwing rocks at polar bears and "drink more vodka" contests.

I think "Hawken" will add a nice variety to this routine.

And seriously – nearly all guys (and girls) from my company are waiting to get their hands on the Beta, so I hope it will emerge soon. Most of us come from the dark ages of Atari or Commodore64 thus probably recalling the very roots of mech games.

I myself got addicted when I first played "Reflux" (released in the civilized world under the name "Robo Rumble" – if my memory serves me well) which was an early 3D RTS with full unit customization, and then soaked up all Mech references in popular culture (from games like "MechWarrior" and "Total Annihilation", through movies – "Robocop 2" had a mech that would fit "Hawken", by the way – to comics like "Ghost in the Shell" or "Appleseed").

I would like to thank Adhesive Games for bringing the mechs to life once again.

I shall end this post with a screenshot from "Robo Rumble". Enjoy!
