Ugh no, not a server browser... I like having nice, autobalanced games with the match finder. Now everyone is just gonna pick servers manually and it's just gonna be imbalanced matches all over the place. :/ Which will probably wreck the gameplay stats too, so even those of us who stick with the match finder (assuming that isn't removed) will not get proper matches.

Just leave the server browser out. Why is that even necessary_ Or why is it any good_

This is great news.  Now that you know that the community would rather you split the patches to remain on your Mech a Month promise schedule you might want to put that into your plan in the future.  In this case if you had released the new mech on time people would have been happy.  Then you could have saved the new map and other goodies for the next months patch.

If I was Producer i'd really think about his methodology of work release in the future.

Was about fuzzy bunny time server browser happened, I was thinking even mechwarrior AKA "no server browser, ever" would get it first.

O-o I didn't read through the 5 pages of posts, but am I the only one that doesn't get the part where they want to test it more_ I can understand wanting to put out a good product and all, but isn't that why it's in beta_ For us to test it_ Isn't that the point of us being here now, instead of in 6 months when it's 100% "finished" (free to play is never really finished though, is it).

I'm not just saying this cause I want new content (which, new map and server browsers are great to know that they are coming), but why have a game in "beta" if you aren't expecting people the test the stuff out until it's 99.9% polished. Kind of defeats the purpose.

Since playing in a team that knows what to do, everybody knows what, where, when, how, and has one goal - to win the game, and it translates over their personal k / d, is in my opinion, more satisfying for the players because together something accomplished, and the  stage stupid running for frags I have already behind - about 17 years behind.
So I am saddened that the next map is not  prepared for the mode most oriented for players cooperation, and you can see that this mode will have at least a map.

Well, had you been around in alpha or the first parts of the closed betas, you would of seen and used the server browser, they removed it for a very valid reason.  To force players to use matchmaking instead.  Think about it, how can you test and adjust something if nobody is using it_

I like the idea of having separate servers dedicated to match making and another set of servers dedicated to the server browser... like the ones the new map will be hosted on.

This would give people the ability to choose between match making OR direct connect "PUG" matches.

I'm pretty sure that's ultimately the idea.

Ranked matchmaking without the ability to join on friends (so it's truly ranked), and then separately private servers and casual/PUG servers in the browser. I'm not a dev, mind you, so I could be wrong.
