Attention, pilots!

The HAWKEN servers and website login will be unavailable starting at 10:30 AM PST (GMT-8) on February 26 for our billing service provider, LiveGamer, to undergo maintenance. The servers will be accessible again by 2:00 PM.

Apologies for the longer-than-usual outage!

Is that really supposed to read as a 15-hour downtime, or is that a typo_

Edit: That's much better, lol

15+ hours because the billing vendor is doing maintenance_

Well, you wouldn't be announcing it if it wasn't necessary, I guess.

10:30am-2pm, that's much better. I can live with that just fine. :D

You mean i have to play tanks during these 15 hours instead of hawken. Pouts in corner.

Nvm I can live on the forums for just 4 hours.

One of the advantages of living in the same time zone as the devs and publisher, their outage time is when I'm at work and can't play anyway, so it's seamless to me.  :)

(I don't mean to necro threads, I'm just almost always running behind.  My apologies)

The outage won't affect me profoundly enough to warrant anything close to disappointment.

Stay on the course, Hawken Devs, you're doing fantastic. The mechs are, for the most part, very well-balanced, and the cash currency weighed against the Game currency is very well measured.  The Meteor points rate per dollar is excellent, as well; I'll be buying more Meteor points simply as a show of support, although I have no major plans for them.

Content is pumped out at an above-average rate & is very enjoyable. If your company was based in my neighborhood, I'd bring Pasta with my own Alfredo sauce (Secret recipe) for you guys at noon once a month as a show of thanks. For those sick in the mind, an innuendo was not made.

I wanted to convey my deepest respect for such an awesome game & such an excellent team behind it. I do genuinely wish I could be a part of it, but were I even able to contribute, I doubt I would have the time, from Summer onward I'm planning on moving into a new apartment or house and taking prerequisite courses for Biotech. Good deals on housing in my area that cry out to be taken advantage of.

I would like to see boost-flight smoothed a bit, especially when you find your mech against a wall, as it seems to be a bit rigid. If I were to be up against a perfectly flat, smooth, slightly inwardly-angled wall, I would not be able to ascend past a certain point, even having plenty of fuel. It also just feels bumpy.

My gripes are entirely aesthetic, however, and not of real concern to me. I thought you might be looking for input, and I offered some.

Keep at it, gentlemen, your work is well-respected by the vast majority of us, and the rest... Well, they want a Pay-to-Win Call of Duty clone with robots, seems to me.

With the most respect I've given in years to the most pleasantly-surprising game since Advance Wars: Days of Ruin, This message has been very sincerely brought to you by Adler.

The flame of change never burns unopposed.

The last major downtime I saw was actually to implement a server-side fix to patch matchmaking so it wouldn't spread people out into empty servers, after the three client patches. And it's worked to fix the issue by a significant amount, too.

I dunno about/can't remember all the others, off the top of my head.

Got to wonder if Adhesive uses these opportunities to make minor server side adjustments hehe.
