So I kinda just realized HOW unhelpful of a response that was. At 700 bricks I'd guess 50-100 + shipping for pre-assembled. It definitely won't go much below 50, and I can't imagine it going much beyond 100 as everything is made out of mostly common small parts which are the cheap ones.

We need more awesome stuff like this. We also could use a gift shot where we can buy hawken merchandise.

If it came up on the lower-middle bit of that range, I'd definitely buy one.  Upper end I'd have to think a little more before probably still purchasing it :P

If this ends up happening, I will be a very happy person.

It has been years since I've done anything with Legos. Oh man, good times, good times... ^_^

That is some very nice work, NotKjell! A bit pricey, but I've bought more expensive toys in the past... :D

...Course, trying to explain this to a girlfriend...hmmm.

Seen that one. I liked it, but man the scale on that is whack. That TOW is nearly the height of the mech lol. So if I were to make another, should I make a CR-T, Reaper, Bruiser or Rocketeer_ Since those are the ones people have asked for.

P.S. - No guarantees they come out as nice as the brawler, even I surprised myself with that one.

It's got to be the iconic CR-T. Fred is Hawken's poster-mech. So I vote fred. :D

LEGO and mecha go together like best friends in a three-legged race. That Brawler is really well done! Although I do notice you cheated on the Flak Cannon...

I love building LEGO replicas of things like this, but I usually make them much smaller, around 2~3 inches tall. I have a whole collection of Battletech mechs, and a couple Hawken inspired designs, along with my own designs. I just need to figure out how to take decent pictures of them so I can show them off.

If you want to share instructions, since you used the LEGO Digital Designer you could upload the file to the LEGO gallery, and other people can download it from there. Or if you want it to remain more private, find the .lxf file in your my documents folder and it should be small enough to email to anyone who wants it.

NO! THIS...IS...HAWWWKEN!! :D  (sry man but you set me up :P )

Seriously cool stuff.  Legos and my childhood...ah, memories.

Say, if you had a 3D printer, then technically you could make your own lego parts, right_

Hah it's fine.  I like putting Lego bricks together, what I don't like is tracking down all the pieces.  I would be content with paying for the actual lego cost plus a fee to you for doing the hard work of figuring out how to put them together.  Obviously there is a price ceiling.  You should actually go through making one and put up some pictures of it.

Personally I'd love to see the Reaper next, as he's my favorite *released* mech so far.

Reaper might be hard to do but I think it would look boss.

I've been trying for months to get a Hirefam done but things just keep getting in the way.

Do the Hawken poster-boy mech (no, not fred). It has reasonable geometry (unlike the reaper) and looks freakin' badass. Scout or Infil could be cool too.

Love the Brawler!
