Here's an update for the customization tab,
it works like a dropdown menu that unfold the current selected customisation option
in this way new customizations features and content can be added over time without having to change the interface.

To keep the same customisation mechanics as in the other tabs, clicking on the thumbsnail open-up the choice /configuration panel.

Hi, and happy labour day :),
here's (again) some suggestions and mock-up for the garage.
  • Mech Presets : slots counts limited to 4 per mech, Presets can be accessed during in-game garage, but can be edited only off-game. slots cost MC or HC.

Each preset can store any customization of a specific mech, from cammo, optimizations, weapons, items, body-parts, etc..

If available to a mech, presets menu selection can be displayed thru a new numbered button displayed in the lower left corner of the mech thumbnail.
  • Avanced mech stats display option : for numbers freaks, and live display internals effects
  • Compare button : compare effects of the current selected item (ie internal) with another one of the same list.
  • Test Mech button : Drop you in a a training ground area with random spawning mechs and drones. For testing new weapons and mech set-up efficiency in a controlled environement.
  • Sort list : Choose between One, two or three column display, or list view. available for mech
  • New low-cost and consuming over-time internals : for quick testing at low price various internals combinaison, Used internals can be repaired, sold or traded. worn-out internals make the mech emit smoke and fire in the garage (like if it was damaged) - but not on the field.
  • Full controller support : because this game is very cool to play with a controller

Pics (I would have prefered the overall style and look to match : like stuffs posted there, but 'was lazy making it looks better/gritty )  for now i focus on features and ease of use.

Garage : Mech list (with controller controls displayed)

you can already change mechs in the training ground all you have to do is go through it to the part when you shoot drones then you must get shot alot because your health wont go under 300 something so make your self get bombarded by CP mechs then you can pick any mech in your garage

alt+F4 fixes this. Reinstall and as soon as you see it quickly hit alt+F4. If the game crashes restart and try again until its fixed.

Excellent.  Crucial stumbling block: ADH’s pathological fear of providing numbers.  I know.  I can’t fathom it either.  Barmy way to run testing.  If ADH seek treatment for Arithmophobia then we’re golden.  Thunderbirds are go.  Etc.

Looking great!  With your tabs to select items/internals, it might make more sense to have the select tabs be "items", "internals", and "counter-measure".  The tab can extend past the normal width of the mech equipment panel.  It would be a slightly more intuitive layout.

I'm loving the slight perspective.

Also are the green triangles supposed to signify_  Notifications_  What's currently equipped_  It has something new that needs your attention_  The graph you have in upper-left is cool, but I'm not sure how necessary it is or how well it really fits with the rest of it.

And an idea I had a bit ago: hovering over weapon stats would show "damage: 50" instead of just damage, so you can get a quick impression of a gun, but also the numbers for the min/maxers out there.

Overall, I'm liking it a lot, but it could be a little dirtier.  Nothing in game is as crisp and clean as your UI.  But this UI would be so so so so welcome!!! :D

Keep it up, and let me know if you'd like any help with it.

you totally right about the tab items, thanks!
The hover-to-reveal stats is smart too !

The green triangles are notifying everything new, and play de same role as the yellow "!"  when a mech reach a new level
the same visual notifier is displayed when any new content is available, from game updates to leveling caused mech improvements : when a weapon reach a new level, or optimization points are available, etc..

not sure about the graph too, i made it for fun F-zero style, lol

Thanks, my husband actually made them for me since I have Zero idea how to operate photoshop lol. You should check his out. They match and in sickly cute couple way, our Avatars and banners. I may have a few questions, once I get a little deeper that is.

These are really nice!

I really like having the mech in the middle of the screen, and the menu objects on either side. It makes it feel like the focus is on the mech more than the menu, which is good. And having the menu objects separate instead of being within a window feels less cluttered and makes the overall UI look much cleaner, since more of the total space is important info instead of background. I also like the transparency and the non-square angles. It really gives it a hi-tech, futuristic look that is really nice.

I really like having all of the extra information available as well. I can see how this could be overwhelming to new players, though. Making the "basic" information in the main interface, and the "advanced" information in tooltips or separate tabs would probably help with this. Or even having options for what info is displayed, and how. Like if you want to see weapon and mech stats as bars or as numbers.

I really like the tables at a slight angle. I think it is best fits for Hawken world.
