yes I talked to a lot of them, I've got 2 people who agreed (shadowGTR and eth0) and I think 2 of my friends are interested, and shadow will get a friend of his too, sounds like a good start.

when xacius first announced the TPG, I made a team like a fool, and then I was discouraged by a lot of things, but now I'm committed to this as I believe it's the only field left for me to find competitive games.

Small question: Do the lymit of players by team is still 5_ or we´re good with 6_.

You can have 8 on the roster.
6v6 or 5v5 will be settled during pre-season. It's going to be up to you players.

Greetings, Hawken players!

I’m pleased to announce that the TPG League pre-season will be starting on the week of the 21^st.  Currently, we have ~8 teams signed up and almost ready to go, but a bunch of players are still in the “free agents” team and are looking to sign up!

Please note the following:
1. Matches will be decided at random by next Sunday.  Starting on Monday of the 21st, teams will be able to play their sets for the first week.  If you're at all confused about how weekly matches are to be played, please refer to this section of the ruleset.

After the pre-season, I aim to gather input from all players involved, so as to reform the ruleset if necessary. The item and class restrictions are still in place.  More detailed information on that can be found here.  Do note that the only banned item is the Portable Scanner.  

2. There are a bunch of players still looking for teams, and a couple teams have yet to reach at least 5 players.  If you’re still looking for a team, feel free to do one of the following:

a. Contact one the team leaders for the teams that still need players. The teams in need of players are as follows:

i. Vyper
ii. Team Armor
iii. Salty Runback

b. Contact other Free Agents and form your own team!

3. VOIP is available.  If you’re a team that doesn’t have a VOIP server, please contact me.  Ashfire has graciously offered his 32-man Teamspeak for teams in need of VOIP.  I believe I'd also be able to set up a channel or two in the BSB Teamspeak if necessary.

I hope you can help me, I already signed up to the TPG,and created an organization, a team, etc. but none of my team mates can see my team listed when they want to join. is this some kind of error, or the team must be accepted first by admins, or I did something wrong_.

Noticed that team VPR only has one person, tA has 3 and TANG has 4 at the moment. And there are 11 'free agents' O.o

i added all of them and even the guy in vpr   all the free agents r gunna b stuck without a team idk what theyre waiting for... I told complexity to join my team.. id even kno if im gunna b able to compete with 150 ping... durin the day  my ping is like 24... low traffic_  at night when everyones on its 154

im might switch to optimum

Alright, so we can start playing starting next Monday right_ (28/5), and that will be week 1 right_ and that implies being able to schedule our game for the 4th or May (on a Sunday).

Am I correct _

My team plays our match tonight.
Use your match com scheduler to propose/accept a time/day for the match.

Alight, I know how to use the scheduler, but thanks anyway, but I appreciate the correction, I will request to play on Sunday myself.

Team Captains and/or designated reporter.schedulers make sure to use your match com to contact your scheduled opponent.
Failing to do so makes you eligible for a forfeit loss, as an opponent who has logged a match com proposal or has a screenshot of their team waiting 20 minutes past default time can report it as such.

As this is a first time out for most of Hawken with how league comp functions, I'm sure you can expect a degree of forgiveness among your fellow players and admins with this stuff.
However please put forth an effort to make a good showing. All the best of luck!

§4 Match Information



§4.1 Scheduling


The default day and time for all matches is Sunday at 9:00 PM Eastern Time.

All information pertaining to the match being scheduled should be exchanged via the TPG Scheduler, located on the TPG website under the heading "Season Matches".

Both Captains and team Owners may partake in team scheduling. Captains and Owners may designate an additional two players to become team schedulers on the TPG website by clicking "Manage Team Roster" under their Team Panel.

Teams whose opponents have failed to attempt to contact them via the TPG Scheduler within TWENTY FOUR hours of the default match time, or earlier, will be eligible to give their opponent a forfeit loss for the week and automatically reschedule themselves into the Pending Queue so that they may play an active team in their division. If another team in the same division is already in the Pending Queue, then both teams will be automatically scheduled together. Teams whose opponents are considered inactive leading up to a match are encouraged to make use of this feature.

Submitting and then deleting requests before they are accepted or declined by their opponent will not count as an attempted contact; some form of proposal must either remain active or be accepted or declined.

Teams who are marked inactive and given a forfeit loss are allowed to file a support ticket to request immediate reactivation and rescheduling against the next available team.

Matches that need to be rescheduled must be played within three days, Wednesday at 9:00 PM EST, of the default day and time.

***The only exception to this rule is for TPG playoff matches. You cannot take a FF win in the playoffs. If the default sunday does not work, and no time can become agreed upon during the week, then the following Sunday becomes the new default.(Note: This only applies if there is no agreed upon time in Match Comm)[font=Verdana, sans-serif][font=Arial, sans-serif]
