Not to be negative, but when the TPG league says everyone can apply, what they really mean is "Alright so BSB HFC is going to win anyways." If you guys really wanted to make the league more open, then you would have team captains and then do a snake style draft a week before the games begin. That would give teams a chance to practice, and give competitive players a chance to meet new people.

Anyways, I HAVE A 2465 MMR DOES ANY TEAM NEED AN EXTRA_

Thats an interesting idea but the point of hopes are that there will be enough teams eventually if not this season but season 2 to have 2 different divisions maybe even 3 if more people come around :). So an Open, Intermediate, and a Main division. This of course is just dreams and there will be more teams in the future hopefully.

Good idea for a special event weekend or something but for a season, friends/clanmates want to play w/ their own.

One thing that just occured to me, and I'm too lazy to read the rules for it. In TDM, if there is a tie in score, the win is given to the team with more total experience. However with EXP rewards as they are, especially technician and "underdog" exp, do you feel a kill tie should be registered as a tie, or should you just count the team with more EXP_

Also, probably wouldn't hurt if the thread had a list of people looking for teams, or even clans looking for players.

That doesn't happen anymore. If the score is tied when the timer runs out, it goes into sudden death. The game continues until someone gets a kill.

Not to be negative, but if you actually visited the site and saw how TPG's other established games they host are organized by skill division into Open, Intermediate, Main, and Invite you would understand that issue gets sorted out splendidly once we have a certain amount of teams ready to roll.

Also if you took a minute to go to tpgleague.org you would see that we do host draft cups, in fact there is one scheduled for the upcoming weekend in the DoD6v6 section, with an announcement at the top of the Hwk5v5 as well.
I see you havent registered there at all yet, might want to to that as well as joining the free agents team so other teams/players can see that you are looking to team up.

If you are registered and looking for a team to join or  are looking to recruit or create a team from a pool of already registered players, there is a "Free Agents" section.
The password to join the free agents section is  "  fa  "

Update:  Due to the lack of demo support, we have decided to waive the local recording requirement for the league if and only if both teams agree to do so.  The ruleset on the site will be updated later this week.

Well, good to hear !

I've seen that there are a few teams w/ 3 or 4 players_  I wonder if they could post in PlayHawken General  forums or Steam a "Player's wanted" thread_  I'd like to see a fully fleshed out roster of teams.  If nothing else, perhaps they could combine_

We are looking to approach Teams looking, and Players looking, to look at each other, and approach each other about joining and playing.

TPG's community hub has traditionally been the player created and administered forum at nineteeneleven.org, which has a well worn recruitment section for tpg.
The heart of Hawken's hub is here at community.playhawken, and ideally a TPG recruitment would exist here somewhere.
Clan Hall is an approximate parallel, but not quite.

The team captains that have yet to fill out their starters clearly have the initiative to have made  a team.
I would like to think that they can see the FREE AGENT section under the approved team list on the main tpg/hwk page, and understand this player pool is looking to play on their team.
