I'm pretty sure you could condense the important points of siege into a briefing by the training in the 10 seconds before deployment even. There are definitely places to fit the information in but making people absorb it is another matter.

siege isn't broken.  people who can't speak english are...who insist on playing on USA East coast servers.  On top of that people don't listen when asked to do something or respond appropriately to broadcasts.  Siege involves a small amount of coordination.  You guys who are just leveling up reapers and sharpshooters can do that in death match and team death match.

Siege is objective based and is different.  It requires you to care about rules other than killing individuals.  It requires controlling an area and gathering resources.  These are all choke points.  These force players together.  This is why C-Class mechs dominate in siege.  They have the ability to take more punishment on the objective.  They don't get blown away by one guy with a detonator and a tow rocket.

So annoying.  You all who feel like playing the match your own way are the same kind of person that ignores the rules in another sports game.  If this was football you'd all  be constantly offsides.

Football - The most boring game to ever watch in real life. It's so much better on TV.

"Or maybe we'll just have to go through you"
