Nope standard players around 100 ping lower or more. I did still clean and standard sniper job for a moment until I got nuked by scout.

I'm def new but I seem to be doing fine, I'm ok with spanking up targets from range, I like pissing people off! If they make us too overpowered the community will cry and we will git nerfed.

On a more serious note, no, the sharpshooter and reaper do not need a damage buff, they are fine the way they are. Make a game where snipers do too much damage and dominate the battle and the whole game will be filled with snipers. The other problem is players who play snipers in other games automatically assume the rules should be applied to hawken.

There are good sharpshooter and reaper players out there but in all the games I played where the reaper or SS dominated it wasn't just the aim of the player that made them the most important player, but the fact they worked with their team i.e. they actually followed their team, they stayed far enough back to avoid being destroyed yet close enough to be within range of support, they actually stood on the AA or missile silo, etc.

Sad thing is, the average player in Hawken is pretty bad,
which is, I assume, what you mean with 'standard players'.

No slight to your skill, but some people stomp bad players and think they're good.

He has right about one thing, the stupidest place for servers in EU is UK. Reasons:
Other countries have MUCH MUCH better infrastructure. Place servers in Denmark, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Switzerland, Poland, southern Sweden. Uk is really worst place for game servers in EU

Poland... that place a dump like ... most of Eastern and central europe... nice places beutiful etc ill give ya that but infrastructure cmon!! ive been there...

I admit that time to time I get pushed on servers where is new players and bad players where I have had been standing out as MVP but those laggy Sharpshooter matches what I had were just average tight games that around 20 both teams has kills or more. What I meant by standard players are that they knows mechanics, some tricks, has some mechs and overall knowledge of some of the mechs what they encounter. Those matches what has had been easy I got seriously sad... I started to just roam around a map after that one match and just look at the process what my team does.

You have to be standing right next to someone, fighting like a man, in harms way. Snipers, or basically the vultures of the battelfield, don't need that kind of firepower sitting far back in safety. This isn't a game focused soley around snipers. Probably why there's only two sniper mechs in the game. In fact, two is being a bit too generous in my opinion. And at least those so called "Voulcanfags" have the stones to look the man they're going to kill in the eyes.

Too much actually. SS looks like fuzzy bunny, and its a B-class, so its really too visible at distance, and not very fast. Reap (or Rip) I like because snipers are more of a support role (typical of A-classes, ie Tech, Scout...) than an assualt role (more typical of the bigger Axes, especially B-classes), and A-classes don't stand up for a beating, nor do they give one, they just help the hard hitters stay alive so that they can give the beatings.

vulcanfags have a problem in that they have to count on sustained damage instead of burst damage.  while the sniperfag's damage is instantaneous, the vulcanfag has to keep on target in order to get all that DPS, and it's sometimes difficult to keep a bead on a moving target.  the snipers are in a good spot right now, because the reaper is fast and agile and a midrange monster, while the SS has an incredible power shot ability that makes all classes tremble in fear.  any class with a high amount of burst damage has to have severe range restrictions.  the raider has to be up close, and the SS has to be far away.

Midrange monster...hmmm...There's a texture idea to that.

I don't play SS (I'm surprised that people test it out or even stick with it). It's fuzzy bunny, it really is, that and redundant. Reap works fine, and I don't really care which came first, they both have equivalent load outs for their class types. Then again, people have preferences, mine's Rip, other's is SS.
