Update: Fixed the problem, but it looks like a bug(maybe_). When I bind my left joystick for directionals, it doesn't work in-game, but it shows in the bindings as 'LeftThumbStick_"direction"'. I set defaults by hitting the defaults button at the bottom, and 'Pad_LeftY' is set to 'Move Forward' and 'Pad_LeftX' is set to Strafe Left. I leave those alone, and set my controller up as usual, and works fine.

After having to reinstall Hawken because it has recently out of nowhere started silent-crashing(on Steam), my 360 controller now does not work as intended - the game even recognizes my left joystick for bindings, but won't react in-game. The controller shows that it's functional when I test it.

What could be the problem_

I have this same issue. When I reset to defaults the Pad_leftX & Pad_LeftY cause me to always be moving forward & left but after changing those keybinds I cant move at all. any other suggestions_
