Greetings pilots!

As many of you may know, we are in the process of testing a new hosting provider for HAWKEN game servers. On April 25, we will be adding more of these new servers to the game for testing. These will be East Coast servers located in New York, and you can try them out by selecting the “US East (Experimental)” region in game.

It's important that we get feedback from our players on how these new servers are performing. Once they are online, please provide the following information:

[*]What’s your physical location_ (City, State)
[*]What’s your typical ping on US-East servers_
[*]What was your ping on the US-East (Experimental) servers_
[*]Did you notice anything different_ (smoother/choppy, new bugs, better accuracy, etc.)

Also, we will be removing the EU (Experimental) region from the game in the near future and merging these servers into the UK region pool to attract more traffic. The servers themselves will be the same, they'll simply be added to our already existing UK region pool.

Thanks for your patience while we continue to improve the overall HAWKEN server quality, and we're looking forward to hearing your feedback on these new servers!

Don't know how I feel about EU getting combined, but looking forward to having less ping! (55 on current, living under an hour driving distance from the servers...)

Excellent, perhaps I'll get better ping than I am now because 150+ ping shouldn't be a thing when I live on the east coast.

Yellow Bronco (about the same ping) prolly will change to a higher ping too--he lives about 5 miles from me, we're about a 2 hour drive from the northern virginia server.

edit: maybe you could give me a consolation gift: buff up or superglue-lock my hellfires_ purty-pleez_ mo-bettah blow pops for my F'ruiser!

Since EU Experimental were German based, and UK is UK. It's not that nice. I usually have a 30ms ping difference between the two locations, so not nice!

We from South America would enjoy a server located near us, playing with ping 160+ in the EU server is very sad

It would make more sense to rename the combined region pool 'EU'.  In case anyone's not familiar with the distinction, since the UK AWS servers are (I believe) actually hosted in Dublin, Republic of Ireland, imagine if the servers for the entire US were labelled 'Delaware' and actually hosted in Bermuda.

And will the I3D-hosted EU servers still be recognisable in the server browser once they have been added to the UK pool_  I've learned to appreciate the difference between 48ms and 80ms latency, and wouldn't appreciate getting one or the other at random.  Please keep a separate prefix for I3D instances.

Everytime players start talking together on uk, it end up about how the server are fuzzy bunny and how everyone is rubberbanding, phasewalking, and how many shots are missed because of the lag.

and then if you want to quickjoin or play organized match on eu, you need to rejoin 3 times  to get to the right server

Where are current servers phisically located_ Is new york farthest from Latin American than the current location_.
