Living on the east coast and a new east coast server to try_

• What was your ping on the US-East (Experimental) servers_ 20-120, usually lower around 20-40, but it would "spike"
  
• Did you notice anything different_ I'm not getting any noreg shots, when it does spike I don't feel it, I just see it on the scoreboard. Everything feels smoother. I think the biggest thing is that I'm not firing any blanks/misfires.

• Did you notice anything different_ I am not having any issues. Super smooth, responsive, and really REALLY nice ping. All shots register. No ping spikes, teleports, or issues rubber banding. Literally, these are the best servers I have played on with Hawken. Will still continue to test and offer feedback when possible. Thanks Defter and the rest of the Devs

Please note, when I use Verizon FIOS I get fuzzy bunny routing. If I do a trace route without a VPN, I am routed out the Wester US (to an ISP called QWest), then back to Ashburn, VA where the servers are located. With these experimental servers I get no such issues. I also don't have issues with TOWs not blowing up or launching, shots not registering, teleporting or rubber banding.

Ping is 40 on normal East servers
Experimental servers have 20 ping
Feels a wee bit smoother, but incinerator still has a weird lag problem when spamming papa bear and saare

• Did you notice anything different_ I think the biggest thing is that my ping doesn't randomly spike to over 900 on these new servers. So that's a plus. Like Rei said, I'm not experiencing any blank fires or misfires. It does feel a tad smoother. Otherwise, nothing else to report. I like the lack of spikes, though.

• Did you notice anything different_ Going up against players who had 30 ping or less, I noticed that any delay I was getting was consistent. There weren't any lag spikes, or jumping that I could tell. The ping held fairly constant, staying around 100. Once I adjusted for the slight delay, the match was enjoyable. The connection remained smooth throughout the matches.

Even though the ping was high compared to other players, the gameplay was very stable and games were enjoyable. The ping didn't fluctuate much at all, remaining stable.

Seem steady to me. No lag or spikes which I have been experiencing occasionally on the aws servers. A lower ping to boot, 52 down from 68. Out of St. Louis.

I did notice if I boosted right off a spawn my HUD will rotate from the right side to its proper position. Could cause bugs. I wouldn't know.

• Did you notice anything different_  I guess I've been one of the lucky ones in that the current US east servers rarely give me trouble.  The slightly lower ping on the experimental servers was nice, though.

Typical ping on East: 90-100ms
ping on US-East experimental: 90-100ms
I'm definitely liking these servers more than the normal East coast servers.  Hit-reg seems much better and the game felt smoother overall.  Would recommend!

If only US Central was an option...

this uk server merging is so bad,  3 servers total, no siege, no tdm, at least leave the option to choose german servers for squad match..

• To be honest I never had much issue with US-East until this patch baring anything going on with the Ascension patches. As far as I could tell the new servers were working well for me and the ping increase was meaningless. Did not experience any miss fires, but I rarely experienced those before.
  
• Overall I would say these servers are good, but like anything it needs more testing I only spent a few hours on it.

Any difference: The match felt like it played smoother and I experienced no lag of any sort. Typically I'll get a small spike here and there, a delayed fire, maybe some rubber banding, but on the new servers there was nothing of the sort. A definite improvement across the board. Just wish people would actually play on these servers so I'm not stuck playing DM.

I feel like I'm playing west again even though I'm over 100 ping. I feel like you made hit detection client side or something. Whatever you've done in this last patch/server update for ping/lag/hit detection/etc is some of the best work you've done and whatever team you had set this up needs an immediate raise. I've never had so much fun playing on east coast as I did last night on the east coast experimental servers, thank you hawken devs!

PD: We are in fact several pilots, have clan -CLAN TEAM HS- also constantly found Latin players ... and we like the game ... hopefully these changes can see us, well at least this post indicates that. but hopefully they can see the possibility of placing something for us... Latin.

PD: de hecho somos varios pilotos, tenemos clan CLAN TEAM HS- también encontramos constantemente jugadores latinos ... y nos gusta el juego ... espero que en estos cambios puedan vernos, bueno al menos este post indica eso. pero espero que puedan ver la posibilidad de colocar algo para nosotros ... Latinos.
