My game has just started up, ive logged in and now ive been waiting 5 minutes for it to sync,
Ive restarted multiple times. it just wont start.

Then because its been taking so long i close it the only way I can, with Task manager, then when it closes and i try to restart. Oh. steam thinks it's still running.

Hm, did that "infinite account syncing" bug only occur once or are you still unable to login_

If you're still unable to login then you might want to try these things:
  • Restart your router.
  • Check your firewall and/or anti-virus settings (maybe an exception for Hawken is needed).
  • Check if there is a Hawken-related error record in Window's event viewer. If there is one please post the excact wording of the error title and error description in this thread. It might be something like "failed to poke firewall" or a "Kernelbase.dll" related error.

Same problem with "Syncing account Please wait..."

Nothing popping up in the event viewer. This has only happened to me since the latest update.

To fix this, I alt-tab out of the program, close the window, end all hawken processes with task manager, and re-launch the program. Sometimes this takes 2 or 3 tries.
