Im interested in what the previous beta testers used. Didn't play the previous beta but I got into this coming one.

Im using 9800 gtx+ and AMD athlon II X2 250. Just wondering how the game will run with similar hardware. I have outdated hardware and Im finding it a bit harder to run newer f2p games.

nice 680  i would love to get my hands on the 690 but 1000 way too much ill just pick up another 660ti and SLI both of them. then again dont really need it. a  single card handles all games on ultra.

Intel Core i7-3820 and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 690. The game runs at a constant 60 FPS on Ultra but will dip a little If I look over a broad swath of the map (i.e. standing on top of either base on MA-Titan) or if there are a bunch of mechs on the screen.

your you running vertical sync_ cause I am getting hired FPS on my 680 and I am not getting the full extent out of it as my board only has PCIE 2 on it, i am yet to upgrade my Mboard.

i72600K 3.4Ghz
HD 6870
8GB RAM
Runs 60fps on ultra with AA on 4x with rare hiccups.
I paid (when the i7series was new, couple of years ago) 1100€ of this computer so it should not be too expensive (which would be around 1300$ I think).

EDIT: Found the reason for the 60FPS cap

Setup in Sig: Running 122FPS everything max

I have an i7 1.6GHz (turbo to 2.8) and an nVidia GeForce GT 330M 1GB graphics...

It can handle Crysis (Original, Crysis 2 is less demanding on hardware!) so it should be able to handle this... downloading now...

That would be for the consoles. They always cap at 60 FPS

Wait... last time I checked this was PC exclusive!

I've got a Radeon HD 5870 sitting on a PCI Express x16 (1.0, not 2.1) slot with a Pentium D 925 with two cores@3GHz and 4GB of RAM. I built this old thing five years ago and it's starting to show its age quite badly.

I'll be running Hawken on lower settings for stable performance. During the alpha I frequently had bad FPS lag when too much stuff was happening on-screen, but go figure.

Rig is in my sig.. not really a Rig.. a 1.5 year old Gaming Laptop that hasn't let me down yet.  I don't expect Ultra settings running 60+ FPS steady, but when I was running around the maps earlier HDMI'ing to a 36" TV @ 1080p (granted no opposition) on High settings it didn't even studder. I will probably go down to Medium during the Beta to compensate for smoother gameplay during fights.

Low if I gotta!  Definitely need a new system; will plan on building one able to max the settings on Star Citizen!

Damn Elix, spend the $50 and get a 2.1 Motherboard.  It'll go a long way to making that 5870 actually do what it can; albeit not exactly a powerhouse but its definitely under-performing atm.

Alhough the Radeon is new since the alpha ended, coincidentally. I was on a GeForce 9600 GT during the alpha, and it wasn't too bad, but it did tangle badly during intense action, and I certainly got my fuel tanks handed to me a few times because my rig choked on me.

No VSync. As far as I'm aware, UE3 prevents the frame rate from exceeding 62 FPS unless specified otherwise.

And then $120 for more RAM. And then $200 for another CPU. Money is not something I have very much of, right now, and this card is actually a hand-me-down from a friend. I've plans to buy the parts one at a time over the winter, but real life doesn't like to cooperate with my well-planned budgets.

Thanks for reminding me my machine sucks, bro. <_<
