Damn Elix, spend the $50 and get a 2.1 Motherboard. It'll go a long way to making that 5870 actually do what it can; albeit not exactly a powerhouse but its definitely under-performing atm.
Thanks for reminding me my machine sucks, bro.
im running dual 5870's in crossfire (they are 2gb cards tho) and run insanely well !!

Single EVGA GTX 690 (Just replaced my 7970 OCed. Trying to tweak one game up.)
Three 120G SSDs RAID 0
And the whole thing doesn't even need all of the 750W Single Rail Corsair Powersupply it uses. Gota love efficency.
But the rest of the 'upgrade' shows up probably next week. The 'egg screwed me on the shipping date. Should arrive tomorrow but no... Ugg... i7-3770K, A faster 16G (lower CAS is much better then more quantity, especially for games that won't use more then 3G each anyhow cause they are written on a 32-bit Windows OS platform), and a new PCIe 3.0 board to compliment my new video power.
So far, strangly enough, I have more then a few games where my 7970 was actually FASTER then my 690... And that shouldn't be. Reformat didn't help either. Rather curious actually... And another game is known for not liking multi-cards so I turn one of the GPUs off but still. It's running rather crappily on that game. Most games it destroys. I was excited to see how it did on this. I'm worried if they've locked it down to 60FPS or something since it's another console port. (My system is capable of displaying 144, though even just a 120 lock would be fine. But I can tell the difference between 60 and 120 pretty easily. Going back to 60 actually is very noticable now that I've been gaming at 120+ for so long. I've stopped playing the games that are locked to 60 from a poor port. I'm hoping this one is better.)

Last Alpha was a unplayable MESS.I couldn't get smooth framerates at any graphics options, low or ultra,it was a pure lagfest.I really hope they optimized the fuzzy bunny out of this game so i can get a smooth gameplay experience this time.

Im using 9800 gtx+ and AMD athlon II X2 250. Just wondering how the game will run with similar hardware. I have outdated hardware and Im finding it a bit harder to run newer f2p games.
9800 is amazing card which i had, shifted to gtx 460 oced it to 800 MHz and i can some extra graphics details some to ultra instead of high but not of a huge difference.
now just for this great game hawken i might shift to gtx 660 which is not that expensive like other on the gtx6xx series and yet it is doing very good in performance , the ti version is over priced for just a little performance advance .
so yeah i might upgrade just for hawken - especially if devs - producers release the open beta in those good looking maps they show on trailers then i will definetly get a 660 ( the reason why i only buy nvidia is cause i have a 3d monitor which allows me to play the games in 3d if i want to and so far only nvidia control panel can offer me that)
