Thanks for reminding me my machine sucks, bro. <_<

Hehe, not my intentions at all.. It was just that your video card is comparable to mine; I thought with a little luck you could transfer your RAM and CPU into a cheap PCI Express 2.0+ model motherboard and see a marked improvement graphically, to tide you over until a more complete system upgrade is financially possible_ - I'm trying to fix! :P

My sincerest condolences_ :D

During the Alpha2 test I was running a 9800GT with an Athlon II x3 (4th core unlocked). I ran with low to medium settings at 1080 with many of the shiny bells and whistles turned off.

At least I think I did, I had a problem with the settings not sticking. In any case the game ran smoothly most of the time, I did notice some chugging here and there.

I am really excited to jump into this Beta test, I've upgraded to a 460GTX and I am looking forward to some pretty explosions!

Might even be the enemy exploding! :D
It all began with an IBM Aptiva and a very angry kitty.

Intel G530 2,4 GHz, Radeon 4850, 4 gigs of DDR3. Ran smoothly (though obviously not at max detail).

Specs in sig. Testing the game OFFLINE with 10 bots and I'm getting 60fps solid with everything max. We'll see how that translates to online, but I doubt it'll drop.

Rig is in my sig.. not really a Rig.. a 1.5 year old Gaming Laptop that hasn't let me down yet.  I don't expect Ultra settings running 60+ FPS steady, but when I was running around the maps earlier HDMI'ing to a 36" TV @ 1080p (granted no opposition) on High settings it didn't even studder. I will probably go down to Medium during the Beta to compensate for smoother gameplay during fights.

Low if I gotta!  Definitely need a new system; will plan on building one able to max the settings on Star Citizen!

I've got a Radeon HD 5870 sitting on a PCI Express x16 (1.0, not 2.1)

Damn Elix, spend the $50 and get a 2.1 Motherboard.  It'll go a long way to making that 5870 actually do what it can; albeit not exactly a powerhouse but its definitely under-performing atm.

yeh i am running a 5870 1gb hd on a 2.1 and it runs tribes, hawken, and mwo on ultra settings no problem. then again i do have a phenom II 6X turbo processor and 16 gigs of ram. so that may help a little.

I am running an I5-3570k (stock speed), GTX 670 2GB (not overclocked) and 8GB RAM.

I can run the game at 1920x1080 with all settings on max and it stays at 60fps (I vsync as my monitor cannot go over 60Hz).

The card doesn't get too hot either (it is a reference model so the cooling can sometimes need a bit of managing).

16gb DDRIII
Gainward Phantom Geforce GTX 580, 3gb vram edition
Windows 7 X64

Been loading up maps and messing about, solid 60fps with maxed settings at 1920x1080

I am pleased.

i7 920 - OCed to 3.6 GHz
6 gb ddr3
GTX 660 ti

I didn't check FPS as i'm usually happy as long as a game is playable, but first impression at 1900x1200 was good.

During the alpha I ran it on a athlon IIx4 (2.6Ghz stock speed, currently have it running at 3.5GHz) with an EVGA 550 ti (the core is at 1075 with a bit of a voltage bump)

The frame rate was at around 40-60 fps
