Im getting this error when logging in. Anyone know what it means_ I dont think the game is even downloaded on my machine yet. It asked for email and pword then i get that error.

I have received the same error, but I'm pretty sure that the client downloaded completely for me.  Here's hoping that it gets a quick fix.

Yep, same issue here. Ran through the download with no issues as far as I can tell.

Same here, I logged in and started the download, then paused it and closed the downloader. Loaded it back up about 10mins later, logged in and got the 'Unable to download metafile' message...

I only got to download the launcher, when I launch Hawken it goes to a "waiting for download" then to the metafile problem.

Same, right from the start. Allowed Hawken as an exception on firewall to no avail.

I'm also getting the error after it forced me to restart my PC to install DirectX, .Net and Visual Studio stuff (not sure why it forced my computer to restart, sounds silly).

Same here, uninstalled Alpha and get the same error after logging in.. Lets wait to noon to try again

Had a full downloaded client, was able to launch it just 30 mins ago, now getting this metafile problem too

I really wanted to start the download before servers go live, but I guess download servers are down as well for the moment.. Hope it gets sorted too Win 7 64 bit, as everyone else
