I'm sitting in Europe and I got mine to start download after I restarted the Hawken.exe a couple of times..
Not sure if its a server issue where you is, but try to start the Hawken file a couple of more times.

Even try to start it as admin just to be sure..
It looks to be using P2P HTTP, so it should not be a firewall issue of any kind.

Brekster I'm in the same situation and it doesn't work for me.

Meh, I wander what the admins and moderators are doing!_ There very little technical support for this game.

Hmm, not really sure what it is to be honest. I'm guessing it's a server issue and not a client issue since I'm currently downloading.. I didn't do anything to my settings, other then restart my computer once, and login a couple of times..

Guess we have to wait for the devs. Maybe they are catching abit up on their sleep

The beta isnt availble yet:

"The servers will open around 12:00 PM PDT on Friday, October 26. They will be available all weekend and will close Monday night, October 29 at 11:59 PM PDT."

Was downloading in the back ground, then some splash screen for DirectX 10 popped up, it finished installing quickly and did a forced restart. I'm not even sure if it complete downloaded the entire game or not, verify gives the same response for a metafile.

US / W7 64bit

Same issue.

Start launcher, type in login details, then nothing. Just the same "unable to download metafile" message.

I am assuming its a server issue. Hope they resolve it soon, Being hanging out for this beta for ages!
