hey i bought a g² assault type but its imediatly rank 6.
its not really a problem but now i only got the basic skin
and i kinda like the challenge in ranking up.
Is this a bug_

It's not a bug. All G2 mechs are max leveled on purpose.

Theoretically, the primary mech is fully ranked up, and what you're technically buying is not a "new" mech, only the G2 modification of the original mech. You already earned full rank, now you have 2 versions of the mech.
