Just as the topic title implies. I run through steam, and yesterday it was working flawlessly. I start playing this afternoon and all of a sudden I just can't stay in any game, let alone finish one before I crash. It's getting very frustrating.

What are your specs_ (You can use programs like "Speccy" if you don't know how to get detailed information about your PC components.)

Did you already check if there is a Hawken-related error record in the Windows event viewer_ If so please post the excact wording of the error title and error description in this thread.

If you are using win7.......yes. The previous hawken folder will be recreated once you start hawken, but now with all default settings.

Awesome, so I think it did something ha. Had to retype my email and it gave me the "We've set your settings to Ultra" message again.

Hopefully that'll fix it like it did others.

I appreciate the super fast replies from the Dev's and players. Thank you.

No devs, devs have been absent from forums for months now.

Do you happen to have a Nvidia graphics card_ If not, remove your game from "ultra" graphics settings (if that's what you mean by Ultra). If you don't have a Nvidia card, that may have been the problem.

"Or maybe we'll just have to go through you"

Have you solved the issue then_

I'm curious because I've been having several fatal crashes as well while playing the game for no apparent reason. _Perhaps anyhow a server cause_

ps. Today I've been playing in DM without any problem though.

I haven't had a chance to get on and actually play. I will however be able to in a couple of hours after work so I'll let you know then.

P.S. Anyone with Kenobi is a swell guy/gal in my book ha.

Thanks for you suggestion. Although I think that there is something going on with some servers on this matter..... maybe not. Feedback from other players would be much appreciated here on this matter too.

After an intensive cleaning of my hardware --- fans, etc--- I've had not crashes anymore while playing the game.

((This probably helps to other HAWKEN gamers.))

My crashes have gone away. I suffered through them for weeks on end but they went away on their own.
