Since my early days playing HAWKEN I craved that new mech I was saving money for. And of course, after buying, it was pleasant to see the new acquisition standing in the garage every time the game started.

But what happens when you own all the mechs_ By default, the game shows you the last mech you bought. In my case it's the G2 Raider. I like the big bastard but it's by no means my favorite.

My suggestion is to add the option to choose which mech to show as a default in the garage when you start the game.

That's already possible. The order of the mechs in the mech navigation bar decides which will be your "preselected" mech. You can rearrange the mechs in the garage in the navigation bar via drag&drop.



So if you want a different mech to be "preselected" then you just have to drag&drop that mech to the left side in that navigation bar.

Just drag and drop your favorite mech in the first position. That should work.

(As far as I know hawken shows the first mech in the list of your garage, and you can re-arrange those. Just drag and drop.) -ninja'd

Also note that it also shows the mech you had most recently selected after exiting the garage.

Works like a charm. I can't believe I didn't try to drag the mechs in the upper bar before. I was tired of looking at Big Bastard the whole time.

In relation to my nick and totally offtopic, it's a variety of things, cheese included but I took it for myself because of a book I once read. One of the villain's dogs was named Liederkranz. EM10, the other one was named Limburger.
