Pay for this game_ No. I play this game because it's free to play and I can buy aesthetic items when I'm able to afford it. If they seriously switched away from that model and asked me to pay $50 just to keep playing a game I already spent money on, I'd tell them to fuzzy bunny themselves and uninstall for good. How you people think that's an okay thing to do is beyond me.

I don't think the thread was for "If the game turned into a 'pay for subscription'" thing, but rather a "Is this game worth what a retail game is worth_" thing, which is why I said yes. I found that F2P tend to last longer than retail titles.

I love the game and want to support the developers, so I've already spent $10 on it for Sprucing up the TV head, but honestly_ The customization options for the body/paint shop are WAY too lackluster. I won't be spending any more money until they add a LOT more body styles and paint jobs.

(still waiting on Armored Core styled parts, since first Alpha >.> i love the more 'Asian' designs, and do like industrial looking mechs, but more than half of the current ones just look meh to me.) I see no reason for them to release more elaborate looking designs for people wanting to 'pimp their mech' because as it stands i doubt many people will pay for the trash body designs currently offered. I know that its probably not exactly high on their priority list of things to do, but Please DO update the body and paint shops before going live, or soon after.

Also, small thing, but the paint jobs do not affect your thruster nozzles, so it often looks odd seeing the dull gray assembly at the rear when the rest of the mech is painted up.

I would as a pre-order, but not as a standalone. Not enough stuff in the game yet. Still feels incomplete.

In my opinion I would buy this game in a second if it was out. The only thing that I would want with a retail release would be some more weapon selection for each mech, but other than that the game would be perfect in my opinion.

Already sunk in 25 bucks. As far as I'm concerned the game is no longer F2P. I will probably not be spending anything more til there are some drastic improvements to aesthetics, mechs, and gameplay.

I can tell you now the best way to get more cash out of me is coming out with a mech that I feel fits me like a glove. I would want to deck that baby out like there's no tomorrow.

I play this for the f2p, also bought some aesthetics  and having a blast with it, so when more stuff arrives then yeah i'll prob pay.

Pay_  uh, no.  this game is F2p with some options to spend money but access is free.  If it goes 2p then I will just go back to all my other f2p games available.

They should make enough money from microtransactions to cover this.

I too payed for it, even before open beta. This game is not yet ready for launch but more maps, items, mechs, and choices in general and this game will be even more awesome than it is now.

I'd pay in full for this game and to get the devs extra cash. What I'd like to see though is less of the Hawken credit only purchases and higher levels for mechs, making it a longer, more enjoyable experience.
