If this game were on a disk (CD) I probably would. But if I had to buy it directly on here most likely I woudln't.

I absolutely wouldn't. Maybe after some weapon balancing takes place, I might consider it, but not as-is. There's a reason you'll see sharpshooters and sniper mechs at the top of the scoreboard in almost every round.

By the looks of this game, I would. Feed 'em good, they deserve to take my money as long as they don't end up like Blizzard.

If it was something like Guild Wars where you purchase the game then play for free with some cash shop fluff on the side, I'd totally do that. It's awesome, but I wouldn't pay a monthly fee for it.

After some alpha and beta testing I definitely wouldn't.

i think weapons are very unbalanced, enough to annoy me of playing it even if its free to play, but good work on the graphics.

If the game offered mod tools and supported Steam's Workshop I would actually prefer a traditional business model over F2P.

Already paid $60 on it.

This is a great title with many dedicated followers. Design is world class and apart from a few niggles it looks like Hawken will be popular at release. But, as I mentioned in another post. I specifically want to know how many maps are going to be in the release. Maximizing the number of maps creates more varied gameplay and keeps the title fresh for regulars and those who like to dip in and out occasionally.

I don't think such a competitive game should allow for user created content. More casual games like Killing Floor or Team Fortress 2 (and I don't mean casual in a bad way) incorporate that stuff nicely but in a game like this it'd only ruin the premise of the game and sabotage their intended business model.

Yes, already paid the full $60 for it.  I must say, early-purchase incentives are a great business plan...

Hmm... for me it depends I guess. If it were a $10 game I won't mind (even though I've already paid $15 for it...), but really doesn't have enough to warrant a full price buy.
