but i also have a soft spot for the smaller & faster jenner / firefly type of mech.
agility and manouverability can be a lot better than brute force.
and i have never liked the assualt mechs, too slow XD
anime type mechs and O.T.T Big gun mechs are a big turn off for me though

ED-209! This thing made my eighties and got me into mechs in the first place. Metal Gear REX is a close second. I owned the original Mechwarrior game on SNES but my lack of a computer kept me from playing the others, as such I never really got into the whole expanded universe so my knowledge of them is limited, Though I do like the Bruin and the Vulture/Mad Dog design.

That robot deserves more justice. He's awesome in every way.
My list anyway.
1. Mechs in Avatar. (The only worthy thing to watch on such awful movie)
2. Large Tank mech of Appleseed.
3. Some transformers design in Transformers (The movie was horrid and awful in every way except the designs)
4. Hawken mechs. : 3.
Shame on you. You forgot to post this...'

I was about to ignore you.. but how could I do that, huh_ : 3
You like whatever you want, that chunk was Ok. BUT.. do not dare to tell others what they must like or not. If I like the CryTek's toy then I like it. Period. As for now, CryTek is Number 1 in the industry. Numero uno, dude. In the moment someone else releases something better then you admire the new stuff but continue respecting CryTek, my little greasy friend.
Btw, if you want to see a cool giant roboto then watch the Megamind movie. I've just finished it. LOL.. heheheh
Anyway.. who cares.. peace; if possible. : P

You are free to do so.

1. Crytek Engine 2 vs Crytek Engine 3.
2. Crytek said: "We'll have more openness than we had in Crysis 2, but
we won't go full-on, explore-an-island like we did in Crysis 1. Also, because we don't feel it's necessary. With the way people play games today, it's almost too hardcore to have that openness.
You're going to have a group of people that really appreciate that, but you're gonna alienate a lot of people. We'd rather be dynamic about it."
Silencer, If you are going to speak please I suggest you to inform yourself. I'm not your average Joe who plays video games, keep that in mind.
^^.

And in order to remain on topic: Go Nagai!.
