So, i've notice that some skills in the movement and defense trees really don't get used to their full ability, and could really be used somewhere else. If we were to create a 4'th skill tree to specialize in intel for teammates, i think it would bring more teamwork and strategy to the playing field. In creating the skill tree you would have to buff the map to make it more operator friendly.
Skills for operator
Defense
Increase radar check distance - increase the distance of your radar - 0/3
Movement
Decrease Radar signature Distance - Decrease radar signature distance for all actions - 0/2
Increase radar check distance - increase distance to detect enemies by radar - 0/2
These skills could deff be used for the operator skill tree as well as some others. Of course the skill tree would'nt be as powerful as other skill tree/classes, but it would balance the game out if you had one member telling you where the enemy is located on the map. Taking out these skills in the movement and defense trees could also improve, and replace with better skills for those trees. If they raised the player cap to 7 on 7 then the 7th player could play as the operator to give their team the winning edge.
If you watch this video of "Armored core IV" you can kind of see where i want this to go. Obviously i don't want it exactly like AC5, i want hawken to have it's own unique operator class. I say again, i dont want it exactly like AC5. I understand that this idea might have cons and pro, so if you could comment and give me your feedback on this idea, i would appreciate it. Remember to watch the video.
In the armored core operator, yes i think thats all you do, but were talking about hawken operator not exactly AC5. I just wanted to show everyone a rough outline of a operator and what he does. You could either have a operator in gameplay fighting or just the eyes in the sky like AC5. I think a operator would be more of a hardcore mech/competitive gamer.
