To be honest, I'll never understand why people like mechs specifically so much.

I just like bigarse weapons. Mechs carry bigarse weapons.

Good question. I don't exactly remember, but It probably started around the time that I started reading Neon Genesis Evangelion a few years ago- only that, the "mechs" in question are actually <SPOILER REDACTED>

Armored Core got me into mechs. The very first one. I was like... What, 10_ when I first played it. I played it on PS2, and as soon as I realized there were others, I got my parents to buy the rest that were available. Nowadays, I buy them myself, obviously, and mmm, Armored Core. Mechs. Gotta love mechs. Thus, the reason I am here, is big mechs, big guns.

Know what sayin'_

Ultron!  I'm talking 1970's subtitle stuff.  Then Robotech, and what was that show with the cat looking mechs that all joined into one big mech_  eh, whatever... so very long ago.

3rd-ing Voltron, definitely deserves a shout-out. Later on Mechwarrior, Armored Core and Phantom Crash were probably the things that tipped me over the edge. Watching mechs and imagining what it might be like to pilot them is one thing, but video games put you behind the cockpit.

First of all, super good day to everyone! My name is Auralee and I super like the concept of Hawken. I'm an avid mech fan for almost a decade now, so it's super good news to me when I knew this game would be in its super open beta stage! :D

I super got into mechs because of the super Playstation game called "Armored Core: Project Phantasma" :). I played the game because of its complexity with regards on building your very own super robot. Since then, I started to play the Armored Core series up 'till "Armored Core: For Answer" in the PS3 :)

Here's hoping that Hawken will super flourish and one day, be one of the super competitive online games of the era. :D
