Poll: Keeping Mechs, Upgrades & Experience as Benefit to Hawken (142 member(s) have cast votes)

Should Alpha and Closed Beta testers be able to keep their Mechs, Upgrades & Experience going into 12/12/12_

  1. Yes, Alpha / Closed Beta should keep their accounts as is going in to the open beta (23 votes [16.31%])

    Percentage of vote: 16.31%

  2. No, Complete account reset is necessary (118 votes [83.69%])

    Percentage of vote: 83.69%

If Alpha / Closed Beta players kept their accounts with all accrued Mechs, Upgrades and Experience going into the 12/12/12 opening the following concessions should be made:_

  1. "DEV" kills would provide a single daily bonus boost {if you kill one} (19 votes [11.24%])

    Percentage of vote: 11.24%

  2. "ALPHA" kills would provide a lesser single daily bouns boost (16 votes [9.47%])

    Percentage of vote: 9.47%

  3. "BETA" kills would the least bonus for a single daily kill (19 votes [11.24%])

    Percentage of vote: 11.24%

  4. No Bonuses. Hard Reset of all accounts to date. (115 votes [68.05%])

    Percentage of vote: 68.05%

Should Alpha, Beta & Dev's get a special in game tag to make the above proposals a focus for new players_

  1. Yes, it's a great idea! (52 votes [36.88%])

    Percentage of vote: 36.88%

  2. No, I don't want to be a target (27 votes [19.15%])

    Percentage of vote: 19.15%

  3. Doesn't matter (62 votes [43.97%])

    Percentage of vote: 43.97%

Keeping it all, no, but getting a beta reward, certainly. In the two last betas I participated in (WoT 2 years ago, War Thunder right now), I got a gift/premium vehicle.

I think an in-game reward for people who participated in the Alpha and Beta tests would be awesome.  I do believe it's a bit much if people's progress from the Alpha and Beta tests carries into the full game, though.

Alpha players, and Alpha dev hunt participators will be getting rewards.
I'd assume that it's very likely that beta participants will be rewarded too.

On the other hand, expecting to keep progression when they've given us a large amounts of real cash (Meteor Points) to play around with for free_

Full wipe and reset accounts, only keep callsigns.

You know its the only option if you want a fair game, any other way of thinking is only to try to have an upper hand, advantage,... or however you may call it

Also a fair game means a game that will also survive and have more users, and i really want this game to have a good going.

Besides, i know i have a good time while leveling up my mechs (sans a couple of times when teammates dont play like teammates)

So then all the "Vanguard Initiative" stuff we bought (*sigh*, don't drive mechs while drunk) will be deleted as well_ If so.....I want a frakking t-fuzzy bunny, cap AND a snuggie as compensation.


EDIT: Great. Forum wont let me enter "a garment with short sleeves and nice logo" without switching to "fuzzy bunny"

but i would love to get a little gift for beta/alpha testers such like a exclusive mechpaint or a other repair drone to choose from.
nothing special just a little present for all testers.

In every beta ive played this request/demand/wish comes up.

I realy hope they start fresh and wipe it all before official launch.
