I'm so glad Hawken has devloppers again! Broken things are going to be fixed!

 

The fact is, there are some parts in the game's interface which aren't translated. Here are some examples (I set game language in Japanese to emphasize the problem, it is the same for other languages as well).

Often, it's about things that have been implemented quite recently.

I think it would worth to fix those translation issues, and also to involve the native speakers from the community to help in translation.

 

Weapons have been translated (apart from the most recent ones), but for some of them, it doesn't sound right. In French, the Sharp Shooter's Slug Rifle has ben translated into "Canon à balles," which is... Well... Quite ridiculous actually if you read this language. For weapons names (and mech names), I wonder if translation is a good thing, on the other hand, since it can confus people who seek information on them.

 

I know, I know, many people speak English nowedays, but there are still people who just can't. And it's a good thing for a game to speak its users' own language.

Hi there!

You are certainly right in saying that translation of the game for a long time outdated. I am sure that the correct localization of the game anyway.

For example, I have has actively engaged Russian localization - http://www.reddit.co...e_game_hawken/ 

Because of this, the followers will be much easier to correct other localizations.

I want to voice the problem faced by itself: if you look at the basic localization files - a English files;

in a folder G:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Hawken\HawkenGame\Localization\INT

and open the file in Notepad related to virtual training: TutorialVR_Obstacle.int; TutorialVR_Weapons.int; TutorialVR_Weapons2.int; you will be surprised at what to see....

 

Therefore, I ask the developers to give us the correct to download the English localization files that can be made a full translation. 

P.S. And do not forget the tab in the game "achievements".

But if you look at translation files for other languages, you don't see "corrupted" files like that (for example \Hawken\HawkenGame\Localization\RUS). My, only half of Russian files are actually translated...
