Guys can you explain why do you prefer the Assult Rifle over the SMC even when fighting in the test arena (where fights are close to mid range)?
EDIT: (Talking about mechs that can make that choice of course)

Great fight all, joy to watch
AR has a slightly smaller spread, which is superb at mid-long poking and when you can only see your enemy partially, a slightly higher burst factor (a whopping 7,8 damage which SMC would have to fire for around 2 seconds to beat vs AR), and SMC's heat efficiency quality isn't as useful when it's 1v1 and the mech in question is most likely Assault whose ability lets you DPS the enemy to death if it otherwise wouldn't work.

eth0, what happened to the first part of the match where I actually killed him a couple times?
I streamed it but then switched it off and on after Poop joined so you could hear us. Twitch isn't showing it in my recordings so I think it got lost in the tubes. :(
